Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 First poster I can remember rage quitting the forum and then actually never coming back. Adolf did it. TL mostly did it. Nextyear mostly did it. I'd feel bad for being the cause but guy was a massive dickhead on his way out and I didn't break any rules. Plus, I ended up giving Lamb back for basically nothing. Thank God he tanked hard in the second half. It was annoying how everyone begged him to stay after he splattered his s*** all over everyone, though. E: wow, pulled a Spanky there. I'm going crazy.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 Havok asked me to put Seager on his MLB roster. I've done so

Laika Community Moderator Posted December 3, 2016 Author Posted December 3, 2016 I am officially concerned about Evan Gattis' playing time can I have that Glenn Healey kid back plz
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 I am officially concerned about Evan Gattis' playing time can I have that Glenn Healey kid back plz I'm sure he'll still get 400-500 AB's from either behind the plate, 1B, DH and LF.
Laika Community Moderator Posted December 3, 2016 Author Posted December 3, 2016 I'm sure he'll still get 400-500 AB's from either behind the plate, 1B, DH and LF. I hope so. What I really hope is that they trade a bat for a front end starter. I think Gattis' days in LF are done and there is a lineup configuration for them right now where they go. Bregman 3B Gurriel 1B Beltran DH McCann C Reddick RF Aoki/Marisnick/someone LF There's also AJ Reed to confuse things. Really they should probably trade for #2 SP if they can.

Chris Archer or Jose Quintana would be nice fits and they have the assets to swing such a deal. Astros will be a fun team to watch in 2017.

Laika Community Moderator Posted December 5, 2016 Author Posted December 5, 2016 MASSIVE news for recipients of the Jose Fernandez death compensation in this league and others - Otani to be posted after the 2017 season. What a development. The compensation package that was so speculative just grew in value by a lot. In the Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time the Great Deku dies in the intro and it's the most sad but then later in the game there is a scene where an awesome baby Great Deku tree has sprouted up in his roots. This is what this feels like to me right now.

z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Chris and Khris Davis' would have been a funner duo... sort of the same guys, and might make a good sitcom

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 What were all the moving parts? I mean who left who, and who gained who?
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 As a fellow Cutch owner... I think I kinda like this for TCA.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 What were all the moving parts? I mean who left who, and who gained who? I moved Conforto. TCA #17 and Cutch. The rest was NJH
TheHurl Site Manager Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Over the time I had got back on the Conforto bandwagon...but I agreed to this deal 3 weeks ago and stuck with it. I really like Adames though. I might add that I posted 3 times that I was moving Conforto and got no offers outside of TCA and NJH.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Adames is a stud. <----owns Adames in BBDL

Laika Community Moderator Posted December 7, 2016 Author Posted December 7, 2016 As a fellow Cutch owner... I think I kinda like this for TCA. TCA did pretty well. Distributed risk across a similarly skilled veteran and a high upside prospect. FWIW Davis has been better than Cutch in the DDL in both of the last two years, not just 2016. But I had no CF and two 1B so whatever. Buying low on Votto worked out for me previously. I'm hoping Cutch hasn't actually fallen off a cliff and he'll just age like Braun and still be fantasy good after a blip.

Not sure about the steals though. Both were playing injured last year I think.

The steals appear to be gone for good, though.
Laika Community Moderator Posted December 7, 2016 Author Posted December 7, 2016 I call my outfield the Has Beens: Cutch Brantley Puig Dickerson fml what year is it
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 I kinda want Chris Davis back. Would you flip him?
