Damn, just 2 starts short of eligibility. He'll probably get it pretty quickly next season.

Maybe but I think my offense could be decent next year so I want to maximise my ability out of the gate. Plus, I have nowhere to play Moustakas with Reed, Bregman, Bird taking up all the spots where he would play.

 

I guess I'd deal him for an arm too. My pitching suxxxxxxx

Unfortunately AJ Reed has sucked a giant knob and will probably start the year in the minors. Word is Houston may make a run at Encarnacion or move Gurriel to 1st next year.

Well, they do seem to overreact to small samples and make dumb trades. Reed sucking isn't really out of the norm for a lot of guys. Not everyone can be Corey Seager out of the gate. Even A-Rod and Trout sucked in their first taste. But yes, you raise a good point in that I'm not itching to trade Moustakas but I'd prefer it.

Personally, I would really love to see Reed succeed, since I traded Roberto Osuna for him in BORED. I'm not so much worried about his results as I am worried about his lack of contact. But to your point, Reed's numbers are a lot like Anthony Rizzo circa 2011.

Well personally I would expect the two arms to contribute in 2017, with MAX being more of a prospecty risk. But I get your point.

I don't think silvergun is in any position to trade Gary Sanchez right now unless he has a deal in place for a replacement catcher. Ramos is going to miss half the season at the very least.

If he can get Darvish for Sanchez + spare parts I'm pretty sure he does it and worries about his catcher later.

I would probably just keep Sanchez if I were him. He's already got 2 elite aces + Rich Hill + Hamels + 3 ultra-elite closers. He already dominates pitching to a point of overkill. There is a point of diminishing returns, and Sanchez could himself be an elite fantasy catcher.
