BTS Community Moderator Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Chris Carter was 23 once. Would, say, 8 years of Chris Carter production from 3B even be disappointing?
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Would, say, 8 years of Chris Carter production from 3B even be disappointing? If you drafted him with your first round pick in a dynasty league, yeah
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Oh frig off Yankees. If Britton gets a save, then Brach probably gets a hold. You should be cheering for the Yankees to win by a lot so Betances isn't a factor.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 I meant giving the start to CC tomorrow which you hoovered up. Yeah I wanna force your hand to use those two s***** starts tonight and ruin your ratios. Please do.
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Trade deadline tonight. Victor Martinez (SP or top prospect) Howie Kendrick (SP) Derek Dietrich (MiLB or waiver pick) Tommy Pham (MiLB or waiver pick)

Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 I'm looking to add a vet OF/UTIL bat. Will move Castellanos, Gio Gonzalez, Ervin Santana, prospects
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Sent you an offer. If you have a different idea let me know. Got it. Might accept it. I'd like to see if anyone else wants in on V-Mart before pulling the trigger though.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 North is desperate so we get Pedro Baez + BTS' last waiver for our 1st waiver
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 (edited) North is desperate so we get Pedro Baez + BTS' last waiver for our 1st waiver Confirmed. Not bad for a guy I added yesterday. Who you guys dropping? Edited August 28, 2016 by BTS
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Processed. Would still like to make a couple of moves before the deadline.
torontofan Verified Member Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 If anyone is interested in Freese, Reddick, Upton Jr, Peralta, Zimmerman, or any of my relievers send me an offer.
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 To me: Victor Martinez To BTS: Gio Gonzalez + zeros 3rd round MiLB
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 I saw I was starting Ryan Howard as a regular and realized something had to be done.
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Still looking to move Castellanos for a starter before the deadline. If you're interested, send me a SP offer.
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 That was a quiet trade deadline.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 That was a quiet trade deadline. You and z3r0s were the only really active sellers and you both sold most of your big chips a bit earlier on. I am surprised silvergun didn't bring in reinforcements though, considering his mounting losing streak.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Spanky, you can't let SG get more than 10 wins this week. Help a brother out.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Not a ton of sellers, and I decided I was going to stand pretty firm with my asking prices, so that didn't help in terms of activity (I'm still a little mad I faltered on my Reed ask, but what-evs)
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Spanky, you can't let SG get more than 10 wins this week. Help a brother out. Spanky needs to help himself out. There's a very small, but nonzero chance he still misses the playoffs. He's up 10 games on me and 11 on North, and I play jays-fever while North plays Gibbers. He needs to make sure he doesn't get blown out.

Yep, and even slipping from his current 7th to 8th wouldn't be advisable, since a 1st rd matchup with SG looms. I would love to see TRM and SG bash each other over the heads in the first round.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 wow is De Leon going bonkers at AAA lately. You have to think he forces the Dodgers hand soon.

I would love to see TRM and SG bash each other over the heads in the first round. Facing Mike Trout would't be all that fun either. And Kershaw might be back by then too. Also, it looks like I may have ended my playoff drought.

The boys are riding high and full of confidence after consecutive back to back wins against the two best teams in the league.
