Having Winker, Benintendi, Bregman, Bird, Reed, Appel and maybe Hoffman or Zimmer on the team next year will definitely help. Probably will have to make a deal for pitching, though.

Appel would do the opposite of help.

the whole top of that draft is looking good.

Moncada - .446 wOBA - 21 in A+

Rodgers - .454 wOBA - 19 in A

De Leon - only pitcher, f*** his stats

Bregman - .455 wOBA - 22 in AA

Swanson - .436 and .375 - 22 in A and AA

Benintendi - .433 wOBA - 21 in A+

Sure makes the 2014 rule 4 look like s***!

There's no way Boxy rosters Appel past the cut again in 10 months.

If I'm being honest, he's probably not making it past this upcoming cutdown.

I was looking at the original draft recently and there were a few stand out drafts. BTS not having a pick before 60 and ending up with Betts and Danny Salazar is pretty impressive (love the way they are anchors in the True Cards lineup today)

Kingkat picked Betts.

For the milionth time, BTS did not make the Betts pick. He was trading the pick to me and I made the selection. He didn't even know who Mookie Betts was.

I don't have access to the league so that's a mild obstacle to doing PR's

Wow North is a savage

Speaking of North, Hurl over North is my favourite matchup result of the season to date.

Proves the age old saying though: experience and wisdom beats spreadsheets and virginity every day of the week.

From reading the post, it feels like he decided that the extra exposure wasn't worth all the heat that he and Fangraphs were taking from the larger baseball community, for both the quality of his lists and how Fangraphs handled replacing Kiley. I doubt that Fangraphs leadership stepped in here... the lists were what they wanted and he was open to adapting them. I'm interesting in seeing if Fangraphs will engage a wider base in finding a new prospect lead.

Eric Longenhagen, step right up.

My how the BTS has fallen. 13th. Wow.

Is it possible the rules of this league make it too challenging to move from outside the "playoff teams" to inside the "playoffs"?

Our offences have been very lackluster with Votto and Cabrera playing below their usual numbers. I should have traded Pujols and kept Ortiz.

Blech, I own both of them in The League and I feel neutered.

Same old DDL story for me. My offensive core will probably be mediocre (vs expectations) and my pitching dirt bags will probably be spectacular (vs expectations).

Wow, apparently Garrett Richards is rehabbing his elbow.

You son of a bitch... I just traded Tanaka!!
