I've had a decent amount of interest in Justin Turner, but what I'd really love to do is trade him for a legit 1B. He has 1B eligibility, but it seems like such a waste not to play him at 3B where I have Seager. Had a great spring without setbacks.

inquire within.

Why bench him? He's a f***ing Beast!

Career -29 wRC+ vs. lefties and Bum pitching. HR and BB so far lol.

BP released some "top 175 players under 25" today. Look at this tier:

45. Jorge Soler

46. Wil Myers

47. Manuel Margot

48. Marcus Stroman

49. Shelby Miller

50. Lewis Brinson

51. Jurickson Profar

52. Raul Mondesi

Trade Stroman for Manual Margot right now!!!

Do they even watch baseball? I'm fairly disappointed that I extended my subscription.

The rest of the list is equally s*****. Ex., Kiermaier is actually a tier below Raul Mondesi and friends.

Kris Bryant is 12th! behind Bogaerts, Buxton, Corey Seager, and Arenado.

Comically, guys like Trevor Bauer and DeSlafani rank in the 100s, behind prospects like Jake Thompson, Braden Shipley and a dirtbag like Martin Perez.

AJ Reed is behind Jonathan Schoop, at #122.

Mark Appel, who if a coin flip to even pitch 100 career innings at this point, is one spot ahead of Jackie Bradley Jr., who just had a 2.4 fWAR 74 game stint in 2015.

Could go on and on about it...

I just found an all-time Brey Sayre line. From the Red Sox 2014 top 10 list re: Mookie Betts.

Bret Sayre’s Fantasy Take: The stat line is sexy, and his fantasy potential is only a slightly lesser version of said sexiness. The average/speed combination is attractive at such a shallow position and when you add potential 10-homer pop, there’s Jean Segura-lite potential here.

Had to share here for Boxy

Also never commented on this either but holy f***. Did BP cut their wages by a ton? Pretty sure you could pick a better list with names on a dart board. Wil Myers over pretty much anyone in the top 100 is lol. Dat no bat 1B. Still fueled by name recognition.

I still enjoy BP, anyone that puts weight into lists like that is a mouthbreather anyway.

The value is in reading the reports on emerging prospects, not blindly following the lists of their fantasy guys who don't even attend games in person. They basically just went to the Dynasty Guru crew and threw them a bit of money to do fantasy content for BP. Their fantasy crew is easily the weakest link on the site, they cater to 5x5 leagues (what kind of BP subscriber is really playing 5x5 redrafts?) and generally post a lot of dubious ********.

I went into hiding, in fear that Boxy finally had a good team.

Then I saw he's starting the likes of Tommy Pham, Kevin Plawecki, and Brandon Drury; realizing my fears couldn't be more unwarranted.
