Rodon's 1st half BB rate was 5.56, 2nd half was 3.70. He had some early jitters and then really settled in and was a boss down the stretch. 2.1 WAR in 140 IP as a rookie starter is nothing to scoff at.

I don't think that trade is at all regrettable for you at the moment. Greg Bird looks like he can absolutely be a foundational hitter for you, as long as the Yankees don't jerk him around like Refsnyder.

It's not like Wrigley is some impossible pitcher's park, nor is Castro a lefty. He's still probably just a league average bat with SS eligibility.
