BTS Community Moderator Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I'll trade you Andrus for him. I wouldn't claim Andrus off the waiver wire.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Francisco Lindor already has 3.1 WAR in only 76 games. Breath of fresh air compared to Ass Drible i was running out for half the season.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Since these posts Trumbo has gone 298/349/505 in 215 PA and put up 11/27/29 in 1/3 of a season. He's now ranked 203rd in yahoo standard leagues. To quote somebody I love dearly: nobody cares.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I know it's still kinda early in the week, but North's pitchers have really taken a dump on his ratios. It's an uphill climb for him in ERA, OBPA and K/BB.
BTS Community Moderator Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 To quote somebody I love dearly: nobody cares. On the contrary, I think people enjoy when you're wrong.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 On the contrary, I think people enjoy when you're wrong. I think I kinda enjoy it more when you're wrong.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Ugh, I benched Familia yesterday thinking he wouldn't be available after pitching back to back days, then he grabs another save and 2 Ks
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 On the contrary, I think people enjoy when you're wrong. I'm still not wrong. Nobody wants Trumbo but you and Gattis is still better. You will fruitlessly try to trade Trumbo all off season, then take whatever pittance you can get or outright cut him. Nobody is fooled by this charade. Trumbo's done, he's FINISHED. It's OVER for Trumbo.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I think I kinda enjoy it more when you're wrong. I don't, only because it happens so frequently. I like when people take potshots at me, I'm going to work them all into my victory speech.

I'm not sure why you think he's finished considering he's hitting exactly to his career averages, but your refusal to recognize that he carries value in this league is not rational.

I'm not sure why you think he's finished considering he's hitting exactly to his career averages, but your refusal to recognize that he carries value in this league is not rational. Lots of players carry value in this league. Being a ~200 ranked player makes him on the cut bubble for competitive teams. He's not even ranked ahead of schlubby losers like (no offence) David Peralta, Kevin Pillar, Cameron Maybin, Odubel Herrera, and Billy Hamilton. Personally, I wouldn't bother to own him, there's not enough utility. But yes, he's perfectly fine as a 3rd OF on a fringe contender.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 And I don't think he's finished, I was quoting Seinfeld. You're Costanza in this analogy.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Nice. Those stats should come in handy for you... umm.. Just realizing we don't even have a consolation bracket.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I do love how BTS grabbed Buehrle just to cockblock playoff teams, though. That's gold.

In the offseason, and two months ago, it was 'this guy is not rosterable'. Now it's 'I wouldn't want him on my first-place roster'. As things stand currently, you were wrong. Own it and we can move on.
BTS Community Moderator Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Nice. Those stats should come in handy for you... umm.. This isn't your fight njh. Dinger can fight his own battles. Maybe.

I just said "he's perfectly fine as a 3rd OF on a fringe contender," is that not enough? I already owned Trumbo three times, I named him Brandon Moss. I kept realizing he sucks and trading him again.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I think they'll just skip him against the Yankees and then bump Hutch, assuming Stroman doesn't get shellacked.
Cyborg Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 David Peralta is no scrubby loser.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I'll trade you for Trumbo, Queen B.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Super tight matchup with North... I've never been so nervous with an 8-3 lead on a Friday.
TRM Verified Member Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Gents, I appreciate the birthday wishes. As I approach the twilight of my life and turn the ripe old age of 22, I'm really able to appreciate the important things in life. I've said this before, and I'm sure I'll say it again, but it's a real treat playing fantasy ball with you all. This league is awesome, you are all awesome, and I hope we can keep the 20 of us together for a long time. As Lizzie McGuire once said, "you rock, don't ever change". -Min
