I would expect his career line (110 wRC+) or a bit better next year, with 20 HR in a full season. As I said yesterday, I really don't see much separation between him and Kyle Seager going forward, although Seager has much more name value.

 

Not much, but it's still significant. I would expect Seager to be a hair better in every slashline category. The separation comes from playing time outlook. Seager is 100% guaranteed to play every day, forever. Dietrich could struggle a bit and end up platooning, or whatever.

There's no reason you can't compete next year with a core of Stanton, Jones, Gomez, Longoria, Upton, Rendon. It's a bit scary to rely on Strasburg as your ace at this point though, but you have a decent staff behind him. Upgrade your bullpen and add an SP2 this winter and you should make the playoffs in 2016.
