Typically I'll start all 4 closers at the beginning of the week until I sew up SV, then switch in my holds guys. If the team I'm facing has only one or two closers, I lean more heavily towards the holds guys early. Ideally I would roster 8 SP, but I'm making due with 7 for now. Last I checked I'm still among the league leaders in Ks and W, so it doesn't seem to be a problem. I'm also dominating saves, last I checked.

 

15-1 in K's. 10-3-3 in Wins. I'd say you are doing okay. Although 2-12-2 in holds you should consider switching up your start of the week strategy

Nah, it's more a byproduct of Familia and Ziegler falling into closer roles, which threw off my initial SV/HLD mix.

Nah, I only recently added the holds guys (O'Day, Herrera, Watson). I'm more competitive in holds now.

It also allows me to play the relievers who are hottest, so I can avoid playing a Rodney or Cishek when they melt down.

I'm actively looking to move Ethier for a SP. Surely someone can use a 0.360 wOBA from CF as depth for a playoff run. I'd eve package him with Van Slyke for a legit CF platoon.

Can Aaron Brooks stick? His two starts with Oakland have been really good. Has great control, though don't think he'll be anything more than a No. 5 starter.

Hurl roasts TL. TL starts flaming Org, me, and Boxy for getting involved. Boxy makes a post parodying TL overreacting directed at me. o2 takes it seriously and bans him. DDL asks why he was banned. King copies and pastes the post to the DDL thread, so o2 bans him too. JFaS finds out someone knows he posts that shouldn't know that, and sees o2 power tripping, so spams the board with denimtista and "o2 sucks" along with njh, then gets Hurl to ban him and delete all his posts but not his threads while pretending that o2 was the one that banned him (hi o2, I know you username search, I don't really care anymore switch the f***ing name of the Orioles Hangout thread back). Hurl manages to f*** that up and deletes all his threads but not his posts. So there's no more BBDL thread. the end

 

also tell me when you can't make a GDT and I'll fill in

This could probably get people in trouble as well. I suggest we delete the DDL thread to make sure (j/k)

 

This is a perfect example of why we try to insist that people post trades in the proboards thread though, just in case, so that we still have a record of them.
