You're getting Big Fern back this week though! How exciting is that!?

I will say that I look forward to having Synder, Fernandez and the best pitcher in the minors.

And still 1st (2nd?) place. The margin for error in this league is huge. We must all be dumn.

I guess so. It helps that I got Archer for late 1st round pick (thanks!) and Freeman for 1/2 of Byron Buxton. I'm pretty sure the average age of my lineup is like 34, though.

How do you figure Giolito has a higher ceiling than Urias? r u dumn!?

I actually thought Hurl was talking about Justus Sheffield though.

Have you ever known me to pimp up a pitcher I drafted?

Every time I watch Domingo Santana play the OF he does something stupid.

His last two starts he's gone 18 scoreless innings with a 19/1 K/BB. He's ridiculous.

Um, there's a strong case to be made that he hasn't even been the second or third best starting pitcher in the American League...

The only pitcher with a case is Archer.

I assume the case Cameron is referring to is an RA9 based one. Keuchel is leading AL in RA9-WAR with a figure higher than that of any batter. He's pitched a ton of innings without giving up many runs.

Does that value belong to him? Maybe, maybe not. Depends on your definition.

IMO Keuchel is similar to Dickey in that RA-9 WAR is the best way to evaluate him. Not only does he induce weaker contact than anyone, but he might be the best defensive pitcher in the game. He's on track to throw like 250 innings with a 2.50 ERA that might actually reflect his true talent.

Sale has been vastly superior to Keuchel, BTS. I don't even know how you could make an argument to the contrary.

Sale 2.87 ERA 2.30 xFIP in 103 innings

Keuchel 2.03 ERA 2.79 xFIP in 124 innings

I think it's a wash. Sale just does it in sexier fashion.

Surely you realize a .238 BABIP is not sustainable.

Neither is Sale's K-rate. I'll take Sale going forward, obviously, but so far in 2015 I think it's a wash.
