Back me up in the tv thread and it's a deal.

Fine

Also Pm me about Tucker, that KK will clearly regret this...!

No, you PM ME!

lol Are you going to lower the price out of spite? If so then Boxy owes me one for turning the tables on him like this.

I thought it was an extremely transparent attempt to start a bidding war.

Behave, god dammit!

O.K. O.K. back on point. Span is a stud. Slade Heatchott is the best post-hype breakout candidate since Evan Gattis and Preston Tucker is a legitimate power bat.

Lucas Duda looking like a stud right now. 2 more HR today, .409 wOBA (babip is way high but still projecting .366 going forward)

I have an agenda Boxy, don't meddle.

Anyone want in on Gerardo Parra? He's had an OPS of .946 over the past month. Wow what a guy!

Or Carlos Ruiz is also available if you're looking for some veterinz presence at catcher. cheap cheap cheap

You should trade me Puig for Span + Darvish.

I'll think about it.

On another note.. I just looked at your team and it's really bad. Maybe even worse then Boxy's was last year.

For my Zeppelin fan friend.

My Shangri-La beneath the summer moon, he won't return again

Sure as the dust that floats high in June, when movin' through Kazmir.

Doesn't totally work so I'll just outwardly laugh at Kazmir blowing up his shoulder.

There was initial hype about Gattis?

I don't know who Preston Tucker is, but after reading the last 15 pages or so I need him on my team. Should I break the bank for him or that Lorenzen ace?

Man, Synder's awesomeness would be a lot more palatable if Abreu could be the 155 wRC+ guy that projections promised me he was.

Between this and Souza, I'm starting to think projections shouldn't be taken as gospel during spring training.

don't forget about Pearce!!

Imagine what the hard-on for Pearce would have been if everyone in the off-season was told that he'd get 2B eligibility.

There was never any hype about Gattis. He was never a Top 100 prospect, and he wasn't drafted at all in either our MLB or MiLB drafts. I'm not even sure if I used a waiver on him.

Wasn't he a thing when he was really young though? Like washed out prospect makes good kind of story? That's the angle I'm going for with Slade anyways.

Pot smoker...decided not to go to Texas A&M out of fear of big time baseball. Quit the sport for 4 years.

Souza has a .325 wOBA

pre-season ZiPS: .310

pre-season Steamer: .323

But yes, between Souza and Pearce, projection systems have been disproven.

Morneau, Calhoun, Reyes, Anibal Sanchez, possibly Pineda if a receive a massive haul for him, Papeldick, David DeJesus, Lind, Hudson OTB. Looking for younger players or good prospects.

Would take picks for DeJesus and Hudson

Those aren't the initial projections you were all fapping to, those are the revised ones. Nice try though.

Those are the ones released during Spring Training, though. You referenced the projections we were looking at during Spring Training.

They dropped a little bit when he got traded. His home park factor went from 100 to 95
