Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 So Matt Harvey comes right back after TJS throwing 97 MPH and dominates the best team in baseball. He's pretty decent.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 He can be transfered by a commish but only if they have an open roster spot; not directly to their DL.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 I think post amputation Jaime Lannister has more keeper value than Jaime Garcia at this point.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 I think post amputation Jaime Lannister has more keeper value than Jaime Garcia at this point. Spoiler! Lol jk, if you aren't up to date on GoT, ur dumn.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Seriously tho, he's a pretty good MRSP when healthy, and it's a small enough investment that I won't be cheesed if he never plays again.
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 10, 2015 Author Posted April 10, 2015 Jaime Garcia is a poster boy for bad mechanics = injury. http://www.chrisoleary.com/projects/PitchingMechanics101/_Videos/Clips_SD/JaimeGarcia_CF_07202008_001.gif Huge scap load + timing problem = no wonder he can't stay healthy In frame 48 of this gif his body is in such an awkward position that if you saw just a still and didn't know who it was you'd think he's right handed.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Pretty sure my arm wouldn't even bend that way.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Not to mention, his job is probably stolen for good.
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 10, 2015 Author Posted April 10, 2015 Don't worry about that too much - Wacha also has a scap load timing issue (ow shoulder!) and Waino is a classic inverted W. ... man, being a fear-mongering charlatan is fun.

Waino has had a good career, he should probably just retire after this one.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Sidebar, did I really not learn my lesson with Tommy Hanson, Pineda, and Beachy?
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Sidebar, did I really not learn my lesson with Tommy Hanson, Pineda, and Beachy? Pineda is looking really good this year, atleast you held onto him.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 He looked great last year too in his 76.1 IP.
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 10, 2015 Author Posted April 10, 2015 Yeah at this point I guess I'd be willing to tepidly climb back on to the SS Pineda. Just too bad we never really got to know the version of Pineda that sat 94 and touched 99...
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 I'd be shocked if he ever has a 200 IP season.
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Holland... Holland goes down and you're getting absolutely thrashed by havok. Rough week
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 11, 2015 Author Posted April 11, 2015 ~Julio Urias watch~ The 18 year old spun five (5) scoreless innings in his AA debut for the Tulsa Drillers. Urias struck out four (4) while giving up just one (1) walk and two (2) hits, both singles. *wink http://www.baseballprospectus.com/card/images/headshot_101992.jpg
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Yay my ERA is under 1! You on the liquor
TRM Verified Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 North and I are in quite the duel right now, hopefully I can have a good weekend considering I channelled my inner Mark Messier and called the victory earlier in the week. Looking unlikely at the moment though.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Lol, I bench Joe Kelly coming off biceps tendinitis and he has the best start of his life.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 If anybody is interested in CLOSER Edward Mujica, shoot me a PM.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 For the 8th inning shopper, I'll move Romo for a half decent pick/prospect and Hunter or Johnson for even less. Harang was quite decent last year and Heston's fb ticked up and might be interesting, I'd also deal them for a pittance. I should point out with Werth returning Monday I'd love to finish this today even if it means giving you a REAL BARGAIN. Don't bother with any of this trash. Instead you can trade for Ublado Jimenez. He's availble for trade and is looking damn fine.
JoJo Parker Dunedin Blue Jays - A SS On Tuesday, Parker was just 1-for-5, but the one hit was his first professional home run. Explore JoJo Parker News >
