I didn't really squeeze it out of him. It was FTD's need for an outfielder that drove the deal and, thinking fairly equally of the two players, I wanted some extra value as motivation to pull the trigger. FTD still has an abundance of pitching and his team now looks complete.

I think he was joking. It's probably something like "the lowest performers by Yahoo seasonal rank (even though that doesnt factor some categories in)" but I can't find it in the rules.

I don't think there are any rules. Nobody has ever missed a cut. We should probably reduce keepers from 20 to 19 or something, but that's still almost 9 hours away.

Not really any point in giving penalties for missing the cut date. If the person has a reasonable excuse, then a penalty would be unfair. If the person does not have a reasonable excuse and they just aren't being attentive, then we'd probably look for a new GM anyway so penalizing the roster of the new GM would not be right either.

 

If a person with a reasonable excuse is several days late then I'd just make cuts for them and they would have to live with it.

Busting Min's balls has become a bit of a running gag, but the truth is he's always been competitive and set his lineups. There will always be some owners who are less involved in the offseason for various reasons, that's just the way it goes. No one has ever with any seriousness suggested getting rid of Min, and if they did, I'd have his back.
