I haven't even looked at my keeper situation. Not that concerned as all 5 of my waiver picks are in the first round. I'll have my pick of the crappy bullpen guys.

Nothing really to report here...I just wanted to be on page 666.

f*** it! Decided to look at it. There is a good chance this is my cut list

Stephen Moya

BJ Upton

Andre Either

Cory Spangenberg

Eric Stults

Trevor May

Brian Wilson

Corey Knebel

Average Age of my Offensive starters 27.65, all offense 27.7, Pitchers 26.2, overall 27.1.

Can you say primed for a 9th place finish.

I think I like the Castillo/Norris side of this. Ryu is awesome, but his shoulder is scary.

Harvey

Ryu

Nelson

Tomlin

Pomeranz

Parker

Volquez

Romo

With another SP2/3, a closer, and some luck with the back end guys getting rotation spots and performing well, Boxy has a 0.500 pitching staff IMO.

I like my 1-2 a lot. I'm a big fan of Ryu, really regret trading him in that other league that shall not be named.

1-2 is top-notch, especially considering age. Pomeranz/Tomlin/Nelson should also yield another SP3/4 type or two. Just a matter adding a couple more reliable guys and your staff could be excellent very soon.

Also Joe Wieland, Luebke, Eddie Butler, Hellickson. Boxy should just keep them all and ~6 or so are almost bound to stick.

Is that Daniel Norris?

If so I like this for NJH.

If Derek, then seems fair.

If Bud then lol

You're not in this league stfu

Rodon and Berrios could both be up this year as well.

Harvey

Ryu

Rodon

Iwakuma (acquired for a haul after I win the 2015 title)

Nelson

Berrios

Pomeranz/Tomlin/Wieland/Parker

Has a chance to be the best staff in the league.

Indeed it is Devout Dan.

Castillo seems like a pretty big risk due to the lack of projections, but with Ryu's shoulder fatigue last year maybe the risk cancels out.

Check out Ryu's top BP player similarity scores:

1 95 Johnny Cueto 2013 2.97

2 93 Kevin Appier 1995 4.02

3 92 Don Newcombe 1953 0.00 DNP

4 91 Orel Hershiser 1986 4.36

5 91 Matt Morris 2002 3.68

6 91 Roy Halladay 2004 4.47

7 89 CC Sabathia 2008 3.02

8 89 Johnny Antonelli 1957 4.16

9 88 Andy Pettitte 1999 4.93

10 88 John Danks 2012 5.87

It would be good, but no London Slayers rotation...

Yeah I think BTS is giving me too much future love, though I appreciate it. Also, my offense is still an atrocity.

Your rotation certainly could be really good, but it's littered with TJS recovery guys and volatile prospects right now so a lot of your names could go *poof* at any moment which, of course, is basically your luck.

Just eager to see you crawl out of the basement I guess. And yeah I don't think a single one of your MLB bats will be on your team when you're back at 0.500, so lots to be done there.

Ya Boxy likely traded his best bat.

Rusney's Cuba numbers don't inspire confidence. Devout Dan was the hard one to give up but him being as good as Ryu is a long shot IMO. What I find funny about this deal is that I (bottom feeding rebuilding team) dealt youth and a playoff contender dealt a key cog in his rotation.

Also, I shouldn't have dealt Rendon. OT died or my offense would have a nice building block.

Shouldn't have dealt Melky for Handsome Jake either.

I like the trade for NJH. Don't really know how likely Castillo is to pan out fully, but if he hits like the Red Sox believe he can he'll blow by Ryu in value. Even if he half pans out and hits like .250/.320/.435 with 18/15, at 27 years old that's still a highly valuable dynasty outfielder. It's worth the risk for NJH who can definitely stomach losing Ryu and picks up another player whose value could soon skyrocket in Norris.

Also, I don't put any stock in the idea that Boxy's pitching is set up long-term now. Projecting any staff far into the future is imprudent and his in particular fields no workhorses and as NJH said, many question marks.

I hope Boxy has been learning from his mistakes. The series of midseason sell-off trades have pushed his window back for little return. Value verdict aside, this Ryu acquisition shows he's willing to acquire productive Major Leaguers, which I like to see.

No, I don't really know why I did that. Pretty dumn

Ryu's a top 20 pitcher. I doubt Castillo will blow by him in value.

Fun fact: Last starter to have a K% higher than Norris in AAA (min 10 IP) was 22 year old Cole Hamels. Norris in 22.2 IP, Hamels in 23 IP.

Not that fun for me
