Laika Community Moderator Posted October 31, 2014 Author Posted October 31, 2014 Justin Williams comes into the draft as a guy with a questionable hit tool but plus or plus-plus raw. In his first 544 PA he has a measly .110 ISO with 5 homers, but he's hit .351.... beisbol!
BTS Community Moderator Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Boxy just keeps on adding guys he's going to sell at a profit.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Gotta start cutting some guys I picked up last year, though. Romero, Vizcaino etc. Unless people wanna shoot me some waiver/MiLB picks
Laika Community Moderator Posted October 31, 2014 Author Posted October 31, 2014 Mike Moustakas available on the cheap. Why trade premium assets for one of thehurl's overrated hot corner dudes when breakout playoff star Moose Tacos is available for pennies? I know that lots of you donkeys need a 3B.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 I still like Utley. I would have been interested, if I didn't already have the best 2B. Oh, you traded for Anthony Rendon did ya?
BTS Community Moderator Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Still shopping Billy Butler for a prospect or two. He should be out of KC next year!
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Still shopping Billy Butler for a prospect or two. He should be out of KC next year! I might be interested now that Washington declined LaRoche's option.
BTS Community Moderator Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 I might be interested now that Washington declined LaRoche's option. You know how to reach me.
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 You know how to reach me. It's tricky making trades before they sign though. The park and lineup are such huge factors towards potential value.
BTS Community Moderator Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 It's tricky making trades before they sign though. The park and lineup are such huge factors towards potential value. Yup. If he ends up in Boston or New York or something I'll likely keep him and move a different bat. Pretty much anywhere is better than KC I guess.
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Yup. If he ends up in Boston or New York or something I'll likely keep him and move a different bat. Pretty much anywhere is better than KC I guess. inb4 butler to padres

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Yup. If he ends up in Boston or New York or something I'll likely keep him and move a different bat. Pretty much anywhere is better than KC I guess. Allen Craig is going to explode in Boston next year... he might even be a Lawrie-type bat.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 inb4 butler to padres OMG please god yes.
BTS Community Moderator Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Allen Craig is going to explode in Boston next year... he might even be a Lawrie-type bat. I think he'll be very good. OMG please god yes. Why do you take pleasure in my misery?
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Still shopping Billy Butler for a prospect or two. He should be out of KC next year! Been awhile since I dry humped you about Butler.
BTS Community Moderator Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Been awhile since I dry humped you about Butler. I've had like 3 teams flirt with making a deal for him multiple times.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Why do you take pleasure in my misery? I enjoy it when bad things happen to people who threaten my success. I'm like the Daniel Plainview of DDL, bro. (Boxy is the other guy)
Laika Community Moderator Posted November 10, 2014 Author Posted November 10, 2014 bump lest we forget the DDL
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I think trade talks will heat up once we get into the boring stage of the LOD MLB draft. At the very least there will be a flurry of activity in February. I'm still looking to make some moves... Pujols, Craig, Lee, Anibal, and others OTB.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Maybe we should just cut this league. Lost cause.
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 It's going to be slow for a while since 16/20 members are devoting their time to the LOD draft (and one of the other 4 is handcuffed to a desk somewhere doing school work). There's still a lot I want to do this offseason. I'll probably focus on it in January. It's a long way to go.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I tend to dominate leagues that others don't care about (Premier League). I expect by 2016 I'll be walking away with the DDL
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I for one still care more about the DDL than the LO#D
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 The DDL will persist because of the quality of its members. It's just a time issue at present, hard to be engaged in too many things with the LOD MiLB draft going on.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I for one still care more about the DDL than the LO#D Same.
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I for one still care more about the DDL than the LO#D I'm pretty sure everyone still feels this way.
BTS Community Moderator Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I for one still care more about the DDL than the LO#D Yup. LOD has a long way to go before being on the level of the DDL.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 What is LOD? Legion of Doom.......AAAAAHHHHHH WHAAAAAAT A RUSHHH!!!!
