Well I don't actually believe you're stupid enough to think a mid round pick is more valuable than Shoemaker. You probably shouldn't have said it though.

Shoe killed it for me, but I was very wary of his history. The guy hasn't had a FIP of less than 3.94 any of his MiLB seasons. The K rates also seem a little inexplicable.

I hope he does well for you (and I do like him better than Chacin)

I think our deal was fair. You got two good assets that you put to excellent use, and I got a guy I'm comfortable rolling with as an SP 5 or 6, who has the potential to be better if he maintains his play from this year. I like taking fliers on guys like this.

Yeah, I've contributed to bringing the league great shame. I'm going to stop arguing now. Unless someone else says Matt Shoemaker is waiver draft fodder.

All I stated was how Chacin was a valuable asset prior to this season. He was a young and upcoming arm in Colorado - look at his 2010, 2011 and 2013 seasons. I just said I liked his arm when healthy and I wouldn't be shocked to see him bounce back moving forward. Right now, I agree Shoemaker after the season he came off of has more trade value and as a team competing I'd rather have Shoemaker than Chacin on Opening Day 2015, no doubt. Though it wouldn't shock me to see Shoemaker regressing some next season, and it wouldn't shock me as well to see Chacin bounce back if he's healthy.

 

Just offering input and my opinion, which seems to be according to you "talking out of my ass" which I don't appreciate and then suggesting I should quit this league?

 

Look, I'm just dropping this discussion right now since it's going nowhere but just arguing back and forth which I don't want to do. I like to have argumentative discussions, though when you question my integrity and suggest I quit, then thats quite low. I have nothing else to say. I like you BTS - you're a very knowledgable poster though sometimes your Mr. Know It All attitude rubs some people the wrong way.

I know this isn't really news, but you're a massive f***ing moron. I don't answer to you, I can comment on trades just like everyone else and some people need a thicker skin.

 

I know that gibbers is probably the only guy that doesn't want to punch you in the face during a live draft and so you're obligated to be his butt buddy, but try to cool the jets a little bit, ok champ?

 

Explanation:

 

When I'm in a Fantasy League and someone asks me respectfully to stop sending them mass emails in regards to trades I oblige. I try to be respectful.

 

I understand the whole we're all from the Message Board and people like to needle others in the league and on here about trades, Team Building etc... I know I'm a f***ing ******* on here, and have been since the 1st days of the MLB board and even prior to that on the Jays ESPN board. But, in Fantasy Ball I've explained, unless my team or trades are criticized, I'm called out, or I have an issue with someone attempting to ruin the integrity of the league (Grant), I try to be civil.

 

If you guys can't respect that I rarely ever comment on any Fantasy trades in any league and expect the same back, then I guess that's something I'll just have to suck up. It has nothing to do with me having thin skin. It just means I don't offer critiques or expect critiques. And when it goes beyond a simple critique and appears to be a swarm of people doing it, then I take offense and will respond.

 

And really if jaysblue was my butt buddy here defending me, he definitely wasn't doing that when I traded Lance Lynn.

Personally, I'll never call you out because I know that you're not inactive by a long shot. I realize some ways are better than others to get your attention. But to expect to be immune from trade criticism is unrealistic, the league thrives on discussion of this nature and you're not gonna get a free pass.

 

That's the last thing I'm going to say on it.
