I wonder how much money someone would pay to get in, lol.

The BBDL got $100.... so more than that.

I wonder how many people would be interested if a DDL spot opened up.

1. Everyone else besides me would go missing in a horrible canoeing accident.

I don't even want to think of all the background checks that would have to be done on all the hopeful participants if a spot were to open up.

They would come crawling out of the woodwork real fast.

There was no way to know at the time, but if I knew how good this league would be I would have paid a fair bit of money to enter. You can't find leagues this good, and it's provided countless hours of entertainment.

Not to mention the chirping is top notch. Some of the best smack talk around lol

Would we be allowed to sell our spot to the highest bidder if we wanted to?

And how high would the bidding go...

No.

I don't understand the love for co-managers. I'm far too anal about this to let someone make decisions for me.

In my case, me and havok go back and forth when someone has an idea. So far we've always pretty much agreed on most decisions being made and who are good potential targets for the team, etc. It's a very good learning experience for me, and very enjoyable as well as I get to be involved in a great league. Havok has been awesome to co-manage with.

Yeah, I guess it is nice to have someone to bounce an idea off of. Every once in awhile I'll solicit an opinion from a 3rd party. I could never have someone making roster moves for me though.

As a co-manager and someone with a co-manager, yeah, that really doesn't feel right. That'd make me super uncomfortable from either perspective.

It's always good to have a person to bounce ideas off of. I always bounce ideas off a couple of people sometimes, even on the board here for other leagues. Getting other opinions and input I think is very valuable.

I sent you a Proboards PM!

If I had a co-manager they would send out hypotheticals, build trade structures and occasionally set the lineup. I'd be uncomfortable with them actually making key decisions.

Agreed with everyone, after all it isn't my team and I would have no business making a major move without consulting the owner first. Things like setting lineups though is something that someone with minimal baseball knowledge should be able to do.

Saw on both proboards, I'll reply shortly.

What if I sold the whole "Cat's Ass" franchise... You wouldn't even know it's a different owner.

I'd know somethings up when I stop getting drunken trade proposals at 2 AM.

I'm the same way. I'm way too obsessive about my roster to give any kind of control away.
