I deleted it because it was meaningless lol, apparently the Phillies can put Lee on the 60-day and still recall him right after the ASB. Just a logistical measure, he's good to go.

Lee long-term? Is that such a thing... He'll only be around a couple years yet. But he is elite. And he is available. Not sure I have the team to compete this year, so I'd be willing to move him for younger assets if there's a contender that's looking for a legit ace. Adrian Gonzalez is also available for anyone looking for a big bat.

Using a standard age curve, Lee projects to be better for each of the next five years, I didn't go any further.

 

Who knows, maybe age 42 Cliff Lee would have also outperformed age 30 Madison Bumgarner, had he gone further.
