Interested if you manage to list reasons 1 through 11.

Reason 1: I have a DDL Championship to my name.

COME AT ME DARRELLS.

Realmin, it's up to us and a few others to keep it out of Darrell hands next season.

Gibbers picks Welington Castillo. A fine choice. Was kind of hoping he'd make it through the draft so I could stash him at some point.

Thehurl is still up. Someone email him.

The reasons why people aren't and will never be Darrells are for Darrelly eyes only.

Nice pick.

I probably won't see him for a few months, but a career 15% SwStr and 68% GB rate are incredibly sexy. I'll stash him on my DL and grab some other Holds plug in the meantime.

He will probably eat into Avilan's holds opportunities when he comes back, but at least you monopolized the back end of that pen. Avilan/Carpenter/Walden will combine for a lot of holds. I owned 3 Braves RP last season and each got 20+.

Avilan will probably become more of a LOOGY if Venters comes back healthy, but I can live with that. Venters is a guy I really coveted in deep leagues when he was healthy and dominating.

I had Capps in my Top 5 or 6 remaining until you popped him. He's got a good K rate and he could fall into a closer role if the Marlins trade Cishek. I absolutely love that park for fantasy pitchers.

Oh hey, an update on one of my prospects from BP, let's have a look...

Phillies (Steffan Segui)

Maikel Franco: He looks fat and he starts his swing much too late. He gets a ton of separation (probably too much) and creates excellent bat speed, but it hinders his timing—though it is early spring, so this should be taken with the largest grain of salt. It's more a swing for a svelte hitter (which I assume he used to be) who doesn't have to swing around his belly. Actually somewhat nimble at third, he has excellent hands, but it's not clear that his ever-growing body can stay there long term. Theres no chance he's 180; he has to be over 200.

lol, that's one of the harshest spring reports I can remember reading.

Vogelbach, Franco...my farm system may need to be reclassified as a fat farm.

I'll trade you Jesus Montero if you want

Motte, Hudson, and Venters were all in my top five like twenty picks ago.

I know man, I didn't understand zero's comment on wasting a pick on D-Huddy, that's a great pick.

That was my own comment on my own pick.

Still open to building a package around Syndergaard for an impact 1B. Guy is the talk of Mets camp right now.

I feel like Ryan Howard is the guy for you.

Yay for poor asset management this offseason!

I believe in Ryan though, I trust Ruben Amaro's judgement through and through.

He's got a WS title as a Jr. Deputy GM Bitch, and then subsequently kept the team in the hunt for another three whole years!

Plus look at his awards and achievements from Wiki

In 2008, Amaro was one of three people inducted into the All-American Amateur Baseball Association Hall of Fame.[11]

In 2009, Amaro was inducted into the Philadelphia Jewish Sports Hall of Fame.[10][12]

That same year, baseball fans nationwide voted him the MLB "This Year in Baseball Awards" 2009 Executive of the Year.[13]

Also in 2009, the Philadelphia Sports Writers Association (PSWA) named him its Executive of the Year.
