Yea I'm pretty surprised and happy to get him, especially with all of the flakes I have in my rotation right now. I thought he'd go top ten.

Well, I don't think Wandy has a lot of appeal to rebuilding teams or contending teams with 7-8 good SPs. I probably wouldn't have considered him even at #54 based on my needs.

Yeah the length of it has been brutal. The worst part is I still have to wait 20 picks before my first selection. It would be cool if we designated a certain time where people could try and be on the forums to fire off a bunch of picks in a row.

I was considering him, but then I figured I'm not going anywhere this season is I replace Reyes with Jeter for any big part of the season.

Dominguez was the top projected player on the board, he's only 24 and only blocked by Middlebrooks on my roster. That was a fairly easy pick but I didn't have much of a Plan B. I had a few other names in mind but I'm not convinced they made any sense that early in the draft. Heck I may have jumped the gun on Dominguez but it's hard to go against a logical fit. With this not being a snake draft, there's a ton of time between picks so I should have time to gather more information. I'll trade down if I don't feel up to the task.
