I was either going to take Peralta or Tazawa. I preferred to take Peralta because I need holds more than ratios, but I like Tazawa better as a pitcher, and he's nice insurance for Koji. He was a guy I really coveted last year, I tried to acquire him many times from jaysblue.

I love Tazawa. Never wanted to drop him, though I figured there'd be a ton or relievers available rather than starters. It was a debate between him and Hughes for my final spot, and since Hughes signed with the Twins in that pitcher friendly park, I'm willing to bet on a bounce-back since he always has had good K rates and is still just 27.

He was a total monster in the 1st half last year, I think at one point he was leading the league in HLDs with a K/BB around 9.
