Wondering if anyone is gonna take a gamble on Courtney Hawkins towards the end of this draft.

 

The strikeout rate is disgustingly terrible, but the power isn't (.355 ISO!!!) and the age vs. level isn't either (19 in A+ is very solid).

 

The K rate was way lower last year, so it's possible that he's working on something right now.

One guy who isn't owned that I'm surprised about is Andrew Heaney, the #9 pick in the 2012 draft. Not a huge ceiling, but everyone thinks he profiles to be a good #3/4 type. And he was a top 10 pick just last year!

He's being blocked by Victorino in the OF, and Howard at DH. So if someone wants to help poor Puig out and trade for one of those guys so that he has a spot to start, I'm sure Puig would be very grateful.
