Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Got to figure that Gutierrez is done with the M's. Endy can be the back up CF. Saunders should be allowed to run with the job now. Too bad Guti always gets hurt. He's a decent leadoff guy when healthy for the M's.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Ackley has looked like complete s*** this series. Except the beautiful swinging grand slam yesterday lol
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Mariners are my 2nd favourite team. I'd pick them to have the brightest future in the AL. Lot's of minor league top talent and the new tv deal will give them money to spend too. I just hope Jack Z doesn't blow it all. They're my 2nd favorite AL team. The Cubs are my #2 team.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Ackley has looked like complete s*** this series. So what your saying is he would fit in nicely on our roster.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 IMO their farm is overrated. Zunino and Franklin are their only position players that are worth a damn right now. Keep underrating Romero and Miller All they do is hit and hit well
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 IMO their farm is overrated. Zunino and Franklin are their only position players that are worth a damn right now. Zunino, Franklin, TaiWalker, Hutzler, Maurer, Paxton
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Ugh, Bonifacio can't even steal properly. That's really bad. That's the one thing he was supposed to be good at.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Keep underrating Romero and Miller All they do is hit and hit well Brad Miller? Stefan Romero? Vladdy Guerrero's nephew?
cottoncandy Verified Member Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 seriously, who are these people in blue jays jerseys?
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Still liking what I'm seeing with the bats today. Lets go Morrow!
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Gutierrez is one of my favourites. Dude has/had absolutely ridiculous range in CF. IIRC he had a 6 WAR season a few years ago. Yep, do they pick up a $7.5M option though. Add in that it's Groin and hamstring issues now...time to shop him around and see if you can get anything.
cottoncandy Verified Member Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Question - Does the batter have to duck out of the way for the catchers throw to 3rd? or can he just stand there in the box and get in the way?
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Zunino, Franklin, TaiWalker, Hutzler, Maurer, Paxton Did you not see where I put "position players"?
SumoNinja Verified Member Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Question - Does the batter have to duck out of the way for the catchers throw to 3rd? or can he just stand there in the box and get in the way? Can stand like a statue, just can't move to try interfere.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Ugh morrow, you can't go walking the leadoff hitter on 4 pitches..
vanland Verified Member Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 took me a couple minutes to realize that gibby just called a double steal. *blink*blink Dat speed
bzapple Verified Member Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Question - Does the batter have to duck out of the way for the catchers throw to 3rd? or can he just stand there in the box and get in the way? No, the batter does not have to move. The catcher has to throw around them.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Morrow needs to challenge hitters more. It seems like he doesn't understand that he is a power pitcher.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Oh no, is this the coming of the typical morrow meltdown? Need a big K or dp! LETS GO MORROW!
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Mr Hyde shows up in the 5th inning... was hoping he wouldn't be seen today.
