Mariners are my 2nd favourite team. I'd pick them to have the brightest future in the AL. Lot's of minor league top talent and the new tv deal will give them money to spend too.

Gutierrez is one of my favourites. Dude has/had absolutely ridiculous range in CF. IIRC he had a 6 WAR season a few years ago.

 

Yep, do they pick up a $7.5M option though. Add in that it's Groin and hamstring issues now...time to shop him around and see if you can get anything.

No, the batter does not have to move. The catcher has to throw around them.
