Chevy has not made a single trade involving a player going out, and a player coming in since the relocation of the franchise. All trades have been players for draft picks, or draft picks for players.

 

Also, we have Pavelec signed long term, the future is bright!

 

It's too bad, because the Jets have a lot of talent in place. Wheeler, Kane, Little, and Ladd, Scheifele is a pretty good forward core, and then Enstrom, Buff, Bogosian, and Trouba on the back end. If they can put their big boy pants on and add a #1 C, they could be a 100 point team.

Yeah for sure. It's too bad because Chevy seems pretty content on sitting back and waiting for prospects to develop instead of improving the team. "Build through the draft". There have been a lot of rumblings around a blockbuster trade recently, whether it's trading Kane or moving up in the draft, so the offseason should get pretty interesting. I would be satisfied if they upgraded on Pavelec this offseason.

Ehlers at 8 is #1 option for me.

 

Pipe dream is Florida or Edmonton is dumn enough to do Phaneuf for the upgrade and we grab Bennett or Reinhart and 1 or 3. I'd rather Reinhart. If Ho-Sang slips cause of character issues, we NEED to grab him. Kid is smart enough to carry himself through the NHL and has thick enough skin to do it too. He's gonna piss everyone off, probably draw some penalties, and his skill is off the charts.
