Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 With Raptors getting stifled, the Canadian bubble division is out. What a shitshow. Even the Jays are looking iffy now. This covid s*** suxxxxx. Really? I've found it quite delightful.

RobinThicc Verified Member Posted November 22, 2020 Posted November 22, 2020 Im curious to see how the canadian division works. The NHL is going to want/need more than 3 canadian teams in the playoffs.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 King Henry's season is done due to a heart condition, I would think he might call it a day at 38 years old.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 Anthony Duclair signed with FLorida @ 1.7 million for a hefty raise of 50,000... lol. Lebrun has said the Sens offered him just short of 3M, shouldn't have repped yourself kid.
King Old-Timey Member Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Tampa might LTIR Kucherov due to a bad injury.
Laika Community Moderator Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Look at this s*** take: How very convenient. Here’s the deal, Kucherov is an excellent player and logic says it is better to have him than not. Also, Tampa is projected to run away with their division and need cap space more than Kucherov in the lineup. This situation is obnoxiously convenient just like when the Blackhawks would run into cap trouble and have a player with a condition ie Hossa. Yes, the Lightning need cap space more than Nikita Kucherov. Holy smokes.

BTS Community Moderator Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Tampa might LTIR Kucherov due to a bad injury. My return to the WTPDL is off to a miserable start.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 This guy's blurb quote cracked me up... https://www.rawcharge.com/2020/12/21/22193459/report-nikita-kucherov-may-not-be-ready-to-go-for-the-start-of-the-season-tampa-bay-lightning-injury If you’re brave enough to read the replies to Friedman’s post (don’t read the replies, never read the replies) non-fans of the Tampa Bay Lightning are immediately crying foul and accusing the organization of circumventing the salary cap. Let’s be 100% clear here, the benefits of finagling the cap by placing Nikita Kucherov on LTIR are greatly, tremendously, outstandingly, dare I say “bigly” outweighed by what he can do for them on the ice. These people are straight up f***ed in the head. There was rumours back when he got hurt against the Caps that he might've had to go to the LTIR... if there's smoke...
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 24, 2020 Posted December 24, 2020 Kucherov is indeed out for the year, had hip surgery.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 Ottawa traded a 2nd for Derek Stepan lol. Why? Well oiled machine them Sens!
BTS Community Moderator Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 Ottawa traded a 2nd for Derek Stepan lol. Why? 6.5M cap hit and 2M salary
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 6.5M cap hit and 2M salary Apparently, it's about getting to the cap floor, that would make sense.
BTS Community Moderator Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 Apparently, it's about getting to the cap floor, that would make sense. They're over the cap floor before this, but I'm guessing they think this will help them stay over if they move salary out during the season. On the other hand, Tierney is the only remotely interesting player likely to move in a deadline deal, so Dorian must actually a) think Stepan is good, and it matters that Stepan is good. I hate this f***ing team.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
