Im curious to see how the canadian division works.

 

The NHL is going to want/need more than 3 canadian teams in the playoffs.

 

I believe there's a cross-over, or something of that nature. We have to wait, the Canadian bubble seems to have popped.

How very convenient. Here’s the deal, Kucherov is an excellent player and logic says it is better to have him than not. Also, Tampa is projected to run away with their division and need cap space more than Kucherov in the lineup. This situation is obnoxiously convenient just like when the Blackhawks would run into cap trouble and have a player with a condition ie Hossa.

 

Yes, the Lightning need cap space more than Nikita Kucherov. Holy smokes.

Apparently, it's about getting to the cap floor, that would make sense.

 

They're over the cap floor before this, but I'm guessing they think this will help them stay over if they move salary out during the season.

 

On the other hand, Tierney is the only remotely interesting player likely to move in a deadline deal, so Dorian must actually a) think Stepan is good, and B) it matters that Stepan is good.

 

I hate this f***ing team.
