So I go to HFboards to open up the Duchene contract thread to see if there have been any updates, and I see this from a mod in giant letters:

 

Holy crap... I leave for a couple hours and this is where we get to?

 

Talking about whether we can fit Duchene at 8 mil or 9 mil into our budget is on topic.

 

Comparing Ottawa's market size to others around the league is not on topic.

 

Comparing Ottawa's number of major league sports to other markets is off topic

 

Figuring out whether or not the fury are a major league or minor league is also off topic.
