They should get rid of OT altogether and just go right into shootouts. Maybe even ditch the whole game and just do shootouts for an hour. Everything would be over a lot faster and people could get home earlier.

Strome was a complete non-factor in the game tonight. Not a good showing for the two highest draft picks.

I respectfully disagree. Vancouver and Ottawa are far far worse. Biggest whiny fanbase anywhere in this galaxy. Leafs fans are arrogant and cocky...but butthurt and insecure...I'm not sure I buy that.

It's pathetic, I read some of the comments. People are saying s*** like "You play for a Canadian team so cheer for Canada!" In that case Crosby should be cheering for USA and not want to play for Team Canada.

Nothing wrong with playing a game or 2 over there in the preseason, but regular season would be crazy hard to pull off given the travelocity.

 

Unless of couse they were shooting for a game or 2 to happen right before the Olympic break in 2022. That would be the most likely doable way to go about it - assuming of course the NHL players do end up going
