afraid so... they have done it most of the year. start backing up and watching the clock with a lead. hard to win letting the other team move forward. I have never understood changing from the style of play that got you a lead. yes, boston pushed forward, but when the leafs pushed back they had them 5 on 5 until they started clock watching.

I hope what's his name behind the bench doesn't blame Gardiner for that ot goal. He outworked the Boston forward in front of the net for that puck and was just trying to throw it to the side, there was a Leaf player that instead of guarding Bergeron, was going to the net. Gardiner was terrific
