Damn, that sucks.

Sure does. Whether you dislike the Orioles or not, and whether they're essentially out of the playoff picture or not, nobody wants that to happen to a good young player.

Machado today

"Dominican Republic asked me to join to the dominican team that won the WBC but was too late, they called me a week before starting the ST.....Now I have 4 years for decide with which team I'll play"

Just saw the play. Torn ACL at LEAST. Knee bent in an impossible angle for a second, then he collapsed in a heap yelling in pain.

Why did I click on that? ugh

Yeah maybe I should take it off? It's gross to watch.

Roy Halladay left Monday's start against the Marlins with an apparent injury.

Halladay lasted just three batters, walking two and retiring one on a foulout. It was clear from the get-go that something wasn't right, as his fastball was topping out at 83 mph. The Phillies should provide an update on the right-hander's status shortly.

Yikes. Anyone else think he might be done for good?

LOL at this tidbit from MLBTR:

Bonifacio's emergence means that the Royals no longer have to make second base a major priority this offseason. Bonifacio could start and the team is happy with Pedro Ciriaco as the utility infielder, though Bonifacio would return to his original utility role if the club does pick someone else up. With Bonifacio and Ciriaco in the fold, Dutton doesn't see much room for Chris Getz or Johnny Giavotella on the roster.

We've certainly seen the end of "Doc" as we knew him. Maybe he can reinvent himself as a right handed Mark Buerhle finesse type, I don't know. He's a shell of what he was.

Dayton Moore definitely is stupid enough to ignore 607 games that has Boni as a util player and give him the 2B job based on a 37-game sample.

FTFY

Apparently Matt Harvey may pitch in AFL.

What the f***?

I don't know. I own him in the DDL, and can say I am very concerned about the Mets' ability to handle this.

You should be. Christ, he tore his UCL not 5 minutes ago.

Maybe it's like a stress test to see if he needs TJS or not? Really don't know what to think of health management in MLB these days.

I hate to say it, but I think we might have seen the last of Doc Halladay.

One thing we know about Doc is that if he's done, it won't be due to lack of effort to rehab and get back. With his work effort, I don't think you can ever rule him out.

With Cleveland having their final 6 games against the white sox and twins. The Royals have to win 6 of their last 7 including tonight to have virtually any chance. I can't see Cleveland not winning atleast 2 of those games. Royals really need to win out at this point. They're tied against Seattle right now and Hosmer just completely missed the ball for strike 3 and he's arguing he fouled it off. lol, he wasn't even close but they're doing anything they can at this point.

Davis gets out of a runner on third no one out jam in extras capped off by Gordon throwing out the runner at home on a sac fly to keep KC's hopes alive.

Good on Cleveland

Not surprised KC is falling off

Texas though? That's embarrassing.

How little some players know about stats blows me away. Why wouldn't you be versed on the very things that your bosses are evaluating you on? Millions of dollars hang in the balance!

Dombrowski values a good fielding percent. Hunter knows what's up:cool:
