Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Placido Polanco: "I have shared with many good pitchers: Halladay, Lee, Hamels, Verlander but .........Jose Fernandez is the best pitcher with who I played, his overwhelming dominance at young age is impressive." "I thought that Jose Fernandez was just a good arm at that age but not, he's very mature, some times I confounded him with Roy"

Yordano Ventura, Carlos "Tsunami" Martinez and Oscar Taveras are friends and they will play on the same team at Dominican winter ball this year along with Edwin Encarnacion (question mark) and Manny Ramirez (Aguilas Cibaenas)
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Yeah, they've got the timing on their side, good point. Mets are punting 2014 I'm sure so they are probably more worried about the few years after. Harvey Wheeler Niese Syndergaard In 2015/2016 could be pretty damn good They'll need more offense tho

Haha, Shields has been what I paid for so I can't complain. Besides, I still own Yordano in a 20 team dynasty, so we can both enjoy him.
