G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Joey Votto is f***ing awesome: http://jeffcrews.wordpress.com/2013/07/04/july-4th-2013/
flafson Verified Member Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 I would be willing to also include Melky Cabrera in the deal, and possibly eat some of his salary Sure we will eat his salary, it's not your money, lol.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Oops: @RGriffinStar: Omar Infante (ankle) #tigers has been DL'd because of Colby Rasmus slide at RC. Retroactive to July 4 will be eligible after all-star break.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Beltre solo shibin the 2nd 1-0 Texas over Baltimore so far
digiblader Verified Member Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Forgot to mention that Boston brought JBJ up because of Ellsbury's injury and Jose De La Torre's crappiness. They also called up Brandon Workman as well, BTW.
Caper Verified Member Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 My god. Verlander absolutely deals against us... completely rights his ship... then the White Sox pound the snot out of him.
digiblader Verified Member Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Actually, he dominated--until Jim Leyland left Verlander in too long in the 8th because of his lack of trust in their bullpen, which gave up 6 runs BTW. With KC and Cleveland winning, it's not good news for Detroit.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 CY Webster getting destroyed in Seattle.
digiblader Verified Member Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Look out for those stingrays(and one blue furry seadog).. Tampa Bay is really building a lead in the AL wild card.. and are closing in on Boston. All this comes at the expense of everyone at the AL East, however, not just the Jays. Baltimore(due to pitching issues) and the Yankees(no offense) are sinking in the race. We could see more sellers joining in the coming weeks.

digiblader Verified Member Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 As I said, Seattle is a much improved team with the top prospects Nick Franklin, Brad Miller, Mike Zunino, etc. now in the majors. They'll be a dangerous team in 2014.. and it's very bad news for the Angels, who spent all that money thinking they'd have a World Series by now, and it's a threat to the Rangers and A's.
bzapple Verified Member Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Our old friend Alex Rios had a nice night, 6-for-6.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Our old friend Alex Rios had a nice night, 6-for-6. 6th hit was pretty lame, should of been an error. Also, I'm surprised Hawk Harrelson didn't do one of his annoying baseball calls on that one. Video
digiblader Verified Member Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Webster's out. Aceves in. At this rate, the offense is going to need to carry Boston--or they'll be leaving the West Coast trailing the Rays in the AL East.
digiblader Verified Member Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 With Aceves pitching? I don't know..
digiblader Verified Member Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 What the heck? Why is Farrell going to Breslow now? He's going to blow out the bullpen tonight at this rate.. Actually, Aceves just got hurt.. Boston's bullpen is falling apart FAST...they could find themselves in serious trouble soon, especially with a tough stretch coming with Oakland(weekend) and the AL East(after the break)

Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Yankees Aggressively Pushing Chamberlain, Hughes The Yankees are aggressively pushing trades involving Joba Chamberlain and Phil Hughes, an AL executive tells Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports (via Twitter). In fact, a deal sending Chamberlain to a National League team could happen soon, though nothing is imminent on either front. lklkl
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 lklkl Gose for Chamberlain OK, I shouldn't even joke about it, I know...
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Gose for Chamberlain OK, I shouldn't even joke about it, I know... No f***ing way..........Another damn reliever? I want Hughes.. Boni for him lol

Boni for him lol Oh I was kidding, along the lines of more "borderline outfielders for hard throwing relievers" Why are they shopping Hughes anyway??? Pineda due back soon or something?

Pineda due back soon or something? Hughes is a free agent next season, and He's not a candidate for QO (~14M)....Get something for him and save 4 million (Cano money)
