G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 Did you guys see Kawasaki doing pre-game infield practice by throwing balls back and forth with White Sox fans in the stands??? Awesome Would love to find a video of that
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2013 Author Posted June 11, 2013 Byron Buxton is a god amongst men

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 League coughs up the save. How much longer can LA possibly let him give up late runs out there?
TheHurl Site Manager Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 and how does their 2 through 5 hitters go 10 for 15 with a walk and they score only 3 runs?
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 and how does their 2 through 5 hitters go 10 for 15 with a walk and they score only 3 runs? Solo homer and the rest were all singles, but that still takes talent.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 Dodgers just screwed up 1st and 3rd with no one out, couldn't bring the run home to tie the game.

I think the whole 'baseball policing itself' thing is a pretty dumb system, but thats the system.

TheHurl Site Manager Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 Kennedy just hit Puig in the face...he's up and jogging though
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2013 Author Posted June 12, 2013 No clue what's happening but it sounds good, can't wait to see it in the morning lol.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 - Greinke hits Cody Ross. - Kennedy hits Puig in the face. - Greinke hits Miguel Montero. - Kennedy hits Greinke, all hell breaks lose. Mark McGwire and Kirk Gibson getting in each others' faces. I wonder why both benches weren't warned after the first retaliation (especially if it's up at the head). What kind of pitch was it that hit Puig?
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 Looks like League lost the closer's job.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 Wow what a mess last night. Glad the Dodgers beat the D-Bags. Review up in ESPN with lots of video: http://scores.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=330611119
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 Not pinch hitting for Greinke was pretty dumb. Everyone knew they'd plunk him. Yep. Luckily he didn't get hurt.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 lol @ Hazel Mae on Sportsnet asking Rosenthal if Puig is on the level of Trout/Harper
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 That second one to Puig didn't look intentional (imo), but that last one to Greinke definitely was. Right at the head too, he's incredibly lucky he just barely got the shoulder up to deflect it. That's the kind of idiocy that can end careers (and lives). I hope Kennedy gets a good long suspension for that.

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 The funny thing is the one guy who didn't seem overly upset was Greinke. He looked like he asked the catcher if it was intentional, was told no, and was ready to take his base.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 Wow, Kennedy is a f***ing massive douchebag. Two HBP right upstairs, what an *******. Then he even ran away from the mess he started like a pussy.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2013 Author Posted June 12, 2013 I thoroughly enjoy this. Courtesy of MLB Memes on facebook. *sorry about the size*

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Why was his collarbone broken? Grienke's a douchebag too. It was broken in the Carlos Quentin brawl. That's why he'd been on the DL so long: http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/basebrawl-padres-dodgers-charge-mound-fight-article-1.1314626
