Can't log in? Confused? Read this.

Things will likely be messy for most of Tuesday, Dec 31. Forums will disappear, reappear, posts will shuffle around, it will be pretty chaotic. All of this is temporary. When I do a batch move of forums or posts, the system hides them temporarily while it processes the huge request. This could last for a couple of days but most of it will be done within 24 hours.

You'll see a batch of reactions available to use in the forums. We can add or subtract based on community input.

Some specific threads may disappear for days; that likely means I'm cleaning the threads of unacceptable language or content. They'll reappear in time, I have to do that work manually.

You can now tag users, just hit @ and then start typing the username. That user will be alerted you want to bring something to their attention.

You can follow different parts of the site, forums, or specific threads. The system will alert you if new content is added.

There are achievements and ranks in this software, mostly by creating content or participating in conversations. You'll see that part of the site go live maybe 3-ish days after launch.

The site will be ad-free for about a week as we go through the approval process. They'll just appear one day, along with the video section.

It looks like the user data has finished so people can log in and start posting. The forums will come back starting tomorrow morning.

On my PC with Chrome all is good

On my android phone with Samsung browser:

1. The old url doesn't redirect to here it just says "not found"

2. When I type the new URL in it takes me here but a popop says ""Welcome to Talk Sox"

1. I'll test the redirect from the old site. That was a real pain in the ass that never worked exactly as I wanted it to.

2. What does the popup look like? If you see it again, please screen it.

A few more lingering Red Sox mentions in the following places:

• Blue Jays Resources page has a Red Sox Active Roster link, but also the Blue Jays roster pages have the Red Sox in their respective headers
• Blue Jays GM Blueprint Tool is, well, entirely Red Sox

Yeah, I was deciding whether to update the payroll tool but given how late it is in the offseason, decided to punt on it this year.
