  1. When a “once in a while/ not my regular day job” poster like me made a comment a few days ago, critical of the idiot Ross Atkins who thinks he is the most brightest bloke in the room for trading a inning eater Yarbrough who may just in case be a better replacement in case one of the trio HIGH Mileage guys in Gausman/ Bass/ and most especially Scherzer goes down because of a likely injury this season, Atkins defenders and the geniuses of this forum got out of their respective holes sang in unison hurling insults because they thought, I acted like a troll and they got slighted because anything negative against the grain opinion was nothing but noise. Typical like when same people defended the Varsho deal.
  2. Atkins always thinks he is the brightest bloke in the room. Dropping Yarbrough was one of the many of his dumbest moves this past decade. Maybe he thought, Yariel Rodriguez should be enough in case either Scherzer/ Gausman or Bassit goes down. Yarbrough can eat some innings and is an emergency filler to start when one of his aging trio hits the injury bug. when would Ed Rogers fire his a$$ already
  3. Now that Devers has refused to move out of 3rd base, can we trade Bichette to Boston for him? they can convince Story to move to second and Bichette to SS while Bergman can play 3rd.
  4. Watching MLB TV show ranking top 100 active players Mookie Betts picked top 5 the crew interviewed the guy and such a very likeable personality, amazing humility but his game on the field such a gold mine Dodgers so lucky to have him
  5. Is Isaac Paredes available ?
  6. Though the Santander contract May outlive Atkins when the Jays will once again fail to get into to the playoffs or at a minimum take one of the wild card spots lol. Atkins smelling the gunpowder off Ed Rogers and he is working on the phone as we speak trying to sign Alonso, Bergman and Scherzer :)
  7. As a long time Jays fan, I very much appreciate this signing. A switch hitter power bat. Could be the ideal offensive player who can protect Vladdy. Hopefully they also sign Alonzo and maybe dream big in signing Bergman and another Starting Pitcher. Maybe Ross Atkins can redeem himself after almost a decade of mediocrty.
  8. Wow. They took on a bad contract to gain more money then boom. if Ed Rogers don’t fire Atkins now, I don’t know what else Ross should do as grounds for his termination
  9. Hopefully they are able to get him. Btw…congrats to all the people responsible in making this the new home for Jays fans
  10. Last straw for Atkins but we keep repeating this statement for naught as we as fans still getting forcefed of the sight and sounds of Ross having to make the toughest decisions for this team, ops should I say….the dumbest decisions for this team. If they are keeping Vladdy, find players who are more offensively inclined to protect him. They plugged in Chapman and Varsho in the line up and both were the most frustrating bats Blue Jays ever had. Defensive gloves are nice and dandy but FFS, they will not move the needle when it’s all said and done. One trick ponies are garbage players. Dime in a dozen. They also have to address the weight of fat ass Kirk as their starting catcher. I still can’t get over the fact that they hang on to tubby Kirk but traded the young Moreno. Atkins is inept.
  11. Watching the Dodgers parade on tv and the smile of Teo on top of that bus is priceless. Missed him. f*** you Atkins.
  12. Rogers spent much for the complete renovation of the ballpark to attract fans and investing much to payroll. We thank them for that. But is it not also good business and more sustainable if this team is winning. 9 years of Mediocrity/ almost a decade under Shapiro and Atkins, is that not enough and length of time to finally fire these two clowns
  13. Varsho is a One trick ponyÂ…this has been his calling card when treadmill Ross acquired him from AZ but the glass half full people always believed that he can be an offensive weapon, I guess there is nothing wrong with that.
  14. Treadmill Ross 9 years of mediocrity under his reign Unreal !
  15. Omar is here 24/7, him Spanky and Carlos Danger disappointed that Omar didn’t know that there is no 14 day IL lol. clap clap Let’s go Blow Jays
  16. Obviously this is a typical Treadmill Team, not so good to win a play-in game if ever they get so lucky and able to qualify or they are not as bad to do a full committed rebuild. What a dilemma. Ross Atkins: The team hasn’t won a single playoff game since the 2016 ALCS, and they’ve finished in 4th place four times in seven tries since Ross Atkins become the General Manager after the 2015 season Treadmill Ross
  17. May it be a Fortune 500 company or a mere Fast Food chain, there is accountability and repercussions based on poor performance and this organization has none. Sad.
  18. Guillermo Martinez is still around, unreal. Any organization would have already fire him but not Atkins and the Blue Jays. Team is the worse based on GIDP
  19. Atkins built this Jays team that will clearly never go deep in the playoffs or at this current pace may not even get one of the wild card spot. A one pager totally flawed team coached by the worse hitting coaches of all time. That’s says a lot. And don’t give me this s*** excuse that Varsho is a transformed offensive player so the premise does not apply. Out of 30 teams: HR - 4th worst RBI - 2nd worst Hits - 5th worst BA - 9th worst SO -3rd worst GDP - 4th That says alot.
  20. JT carried over a nice offensive thump from Boston with a better spring and a nice start of the season Then Guillermo Martinez happened equipped with his magnificent coaching abilities and a brand spanking new IPad then the Justin Turner’s of the world transformed to be a full pledged 9th hitter Davis Schneider Ernie Clement even Big Boy Vogelbach had a decent spring but Guillermo Martinez indelible stain is so potent that you felt bad for these guys I don’t even have to discuss about what is happening with Vlad/ Springer/ Kirk and Bo this season. Varsho is Varsho, he is a one trick pony. Ross Atkins not firing the hitting coach is a massive dereliction of duty. How much more sample size do they need from last Season.
  21. Varsho plummeting back to earth, short lived blip on the radar and people were gushing over him LOL
  22. Fire the damn hitting coach Guillermo Martinez Or Atkins must be really so stupid
  23. Unreal that until now Guillermo Martinez is still coaching this team. Case in Point: Justin Turner was red hot coming off a magnificent offensive season with the Red Sox, carried that over early on the with the Jays. Then the potent stain of Guillermo rubbed off of him, handed him that IPad and likely gave him pointers about the mechanics of hitting and the rest is history. Justin Turner became another 9th hitter of this team. Fire the guy !
  24. Bottom dweller: HITS RBI SLG% OPS RISP But Guillermo Martinez is still around because people saying that he is instrumental in VarshoÂ’s offensive numbers turnaround this season (small sample size) and totally ignored his impact on the teamÂ’s overall offensive numbers (bigger sample size since last season) Fire the guy !
  25. Did you guys see that feed of Guillermo Martinez coaching Vlad how to bat…. That hitting coach should be fired ASAP How much more of a sample size does Atkins needed to make the call. This team is in the bottom of the league with RISP. FIRE GUILLERMO MARTINEZ !
