  1. .... how hard we have to work for these wins, nothing is going to come easy for this team
  2. LOL Chapman hits Stewart to force a run in and lose it for the Rangers
  3. Mets just got out of a 0 out bases loaded jam, still tied in extras, line out followed by a dp
  4. if he can take close pitches, have a good eye at the plate then everything else plays from there. He's only 13 games into his big league career. Can definitely see Atkins taking a chance and going with him as the starting 2B next season. Right now there's nothing not to like about his game
  5. I hope in a kidding way, clement and mccoy are nothing, Schneider has a chance but could eventually flame out (could be Merrifield light) - the important thing is he's contributing right now
  6. for those that can't stand how he takes out his jersey immediately after the last out....its a thing in baseball, he doesn't get to own that
  7. Pretty accurate, Richards/Swanson are ok - haven't checked their k's/9 ideally you need it to be at around 9+ Looking forward to seeing what Green has
  8. Kirk's magic again behind the plate, what a reciever
  9. How so? Biggio cannot play anywhere in the outfield, he's limited to 2nd and 1st and he's not great at either - especially 2nd he's really slow at turning 2 and he has no range. Time to move on from both tbh
  10. Something up with him for sure
  11. I think we can do alot better than Espinal and Biggio, they had their chance - time to move on. Sign someone to fill those roles and / or start bringing up your younger players.
  12. Remeber how Vlady destroyed Betts in the homerun derby, Mookie hit his 37th home run yesterday, that's a career high for him
  13. Yea. The game is won or lost between the lines - always has been. Still though, he sucks as a manager.
  14. It's normally on the player - it's baseball situation 101
  15. So if that's Schneider's logic why did they send him?
  16. Kirk would have been the 4th run, Biggio scored the 4th in the 9th but I agree with the season winding down you do everything to win games like this
  17. and he will get softball questions in the post game presser. Hope someone asks him why he didn't pitch run for Kirk in that situation
  18. I didn't know hey had another player ion the bench other than Belt but if so then this is a big miss by Schneider. 100% need to pinch run for Kirk
  19. yea could have used a pitcher for sure
  20. lol he still had to execute and he did
  21. was there anyone left on the bench? espi/biggio/varsho all used
  22. that wasn't a lazy fly ball
