  1. It is definitely not the easiest position on the diamond
  2. Horwitz probably pumped up for the FB and was primed for some good breaking pitches and that exactly what he got
  3. and he got 4 of them, yea pretty nasty sliders
  4. Horwitz got 4 straight sliders, tough one
  5. That's so dumb - Rivera's only job is to instruct a young player like Schneider the different scenarios of when to run or not
  6. You do not come home on that
  7. no reason to tag up on that with those arms and down by 2
  8. Still a good AB's by Schneider that was a nasty nasty slider
  9. I don't think I;ve ever seen a hitter pull a 95mph FB that far foul
  10. Montero is ALL over that FB
  11. lol what are they doing with Kikuchi near 100 pitches - this is so unlike JS
  12. Kikuchi is a gamer - he's come a really long way
  13. Why did they visit the mound anyway.......
  14. It's why Atkins traded for DeJong - oh well
  15. That was a pick Vlady has to make
  16. Ump telling Kikcuhi to not go to his mouth while he's on/near the rubber
  17. Joe Siddall is such a treat to listen to
  18. man that was a terrible throw - could have easily had him at hom
  19. Yes I mentioned that earlier - every catcher is different some hide the free hand in their hip, down beside their knee - at least provide some cover. In Jansens case it was totally exposed - still bad luck though with runners on otherwise it needs to be behind your back
  20. 88mph Blach FB (lol) ....438'
  21. yes 1st and 2nd with 2 out, yea I mentioned that in my post. Every catcher is different, could still place it up against his hip or down next to his knee instead it as completely exposed
  22. just watched the replay he's lucky it didn't destroy his entire hand, he messed up, his right hand is supposed to be back and behind him, I think he might have been anticipating a stolen base - still terribly unlucky
