  1. I'm pretty sure Vlady changed his swing from new school get behind and under the ball create lift to old school get on top to create back spin - Mattingly (although he did have a bit of an uppercut, maybe he also changed). Will have to see how Vlady does ....it works for Soto
  2. I don't know what his dee stats say but to my eyes he's a terrible outfielder or maybe average at best
  3. The Dodgers moved on from Beli a long time ago, Outman. and Teo was brought in to fill a specific need with the lefty heavy line-up
  4. plus it's unlikely KK plays more than 130 games, he's closer to being a part-time player at this stage in his career
  5. Roden in LF needs to charge that ball - so lazy and Story took advantage of it and went 1st to 3rd
  6. time to move on from Espinal, players like him are a dime a dozen, Dodgers pick up players like this every season - as the 26th man / util player
  7. my logic is I want Barger in the majors. He's 24 and needs to be tested - 4th OF or otherwise makes no difference
  8. give Barger a shot as a 4th OF, he's essentially Vogel at the plate but can play the field.
  9. Umps are in fine form already, geez
  10. I like that they're giving Schneider alot of reps so far so good including a diving catch near the line in LF - I think he's made 2 errors this spring - I only saw the one on a lazy fly ball to shallow right that went off the heel of his glove. His AB's have been pretty good, sometimes chases the high heat but he seems to be able to adjust and work the count. His chase rate was 19% in 2023, that's Juan Soto territory
  11. Yep, there's potential of Chapman bouncing back, IKF has no where to bounce back from - he is what he is
  12. Kinda knew something was wrong https://www.tsn.ca/toronto-blue-jays-alek-manoah-shoulder-bumped-from-sunday-start-1.2083653
  13. Oh yea, he was in full celi mode, arm bashing and high fives as he touched home.
  14. then Atkins pivoted and signed IKF, I mean just swallow your pride and get it done - but I guess the GM's like seeing the players squirm just a few weeks before the season starts
  15. Atkins admitted that mistake, hasn't learned from it though, too bad we could have easily done 20/18/16 for Chapman
  16. Vogel pimped it but who cares, remember Tulo as a Yankee celebrating his spring home run, same s***.
  17. Same. Good AB vs a lefty
  18. give us a break from Michael Kay and Paul O'Neill, I don't mind them that much
  19. If he hits he will be in the line-up, right now I'd DH him over Kirk when the regulars are all in the field, otherwise he plays 2nd; Biggio of course is also in the mix. You hit, you play
  20. Schneider looks exactly the same as last season - so dialed in at the plate
  21. Soto changes the look of that Yankee line-up, great addition
  22. I wanted to see Dallas face the heart of the order a 2nd time, quick hook Schneider will have none of that
  23. they're baseball players not Olympic swimmers
  24. I forgot about the re-entry rule in ST, I like it
  25. Schneider lets go...base hit off Cole after looking overmatched with the high heat then Vogel with a BOMB off Cole, 370' shot (looked like 500')
