    There's no way you'd trade Kirk for anything close to that deal. I don't know why people are so willing to give up a 23 year old catcher who's projecting for a 125 wRC+ next year. I get that we have Moreno, but nothing is guaranteed. If he's not a part of a package for a Ketel Marte or a J Ram, keep him.

    Yeah, with 20 teams and so many players per team, I just wasn't sure what the quality will be like for the draft coming up versus the players available in the dispersal draft.

    I'm thinking I should've taken advantage of a strategy like BTS by grabbing picks. What's the risk/reward in doing so?

    Yeah, I tried to evaluate each position and the best player that could help me out eventually. And it really seems like a lot of the value is in the prospects right now. Of course that's thinning out too, so it's back to MLB players. Lol.

    Hey, so confused. This league has such a big learning curve. Lol. So I can ask you guys to move a prospect with no MLB games and no green flag to my farm? I wasn't sure if I could do that or not.

    Hey, I haven't had time to really go over the rules, so I have no idea the value of picks coming up in February/March. Do we only protect so many players and the rest are open to selections?

    Sorry about all the confusion on this. I told BTS that I've been really sick lately and wasn't familiar with Fantrax yet and didn't even know of this thread. I won't make the same mistake. Question. There's a player I'm interested in that's not showing as minors (no green flag) But he doesn't appear to have played a game in MLB. Is he available? Still unsure of the rules.

    Yeah, I thought so too. But I read an article tonight from CBC that says "spooky" is racist and problematic as well.

    I agree. The way Jansen recovered as the year went on, makes me comfortable as the starting C. Kirk is projected for a wRC+ of 125; as a 23 year old. The fact that people here are so willing to trade him is confusing. And Moreno is the best of the bunch and can play C and 3rd. They can easily rotate between the 3 positions to give them all lots of ABs. All 3 players can get regular at bats if it's utilized properly. Now I'd be OK with using one (except Moreno) in a package for a top young starter, but other than that, buy a position player until these players are fully ready.
