    I'm a baseball fan and this is a baseball forum, so I like to read and occasionally post. I often feel compelled to post after seeing Spanky bullying certain posters. Why do you get upset and call me a bitch for defending other posters who Spanky picks on? Perhaps a better question is, why are YOU ok with Spanky telling people to kill themselves along with every name in the book just because he doesn't like their posting style? Because that's what's messed up here man, not me.

    With today's playoff format hey actually would have made the playoffs in 1998, 1999, 2003, and would have just missed a couple other years between 2003 and 2015, where if they made a deadline acquisition might have made it then too.

    I can't believe they sent Pearson down. Agree with everyone who said Swanson wasn't ready, and to put him into a save situation right out of the chute was not ideal. If you know most of your pen wasn't available, why send away 2 guys who could have gone multiple innings? Pearson has been as good as anyone in the bullpen so far to boot. With the off day tomorrow, that was some really insane roster management. And funny how Mitch being released seems to be but a footnote. Wasn't he supposed to be a weapon this year? I know at least a few people on here were pumping his tires big time going into the season.

    I was at that game! Wasn't that the game where Nate struck out Josh Bell and Josh Bell said that was the best stuff he'd ever faced? I've been there twice, so that might be different games. But I was definitely there for the Vlad piss missile to left.
