    We can still activate Bassitt/Scherzer for Bruhil if required for Game 4. I hope we actually do that because you never know if we need a guy to eat innings during a bullpen game.

    Personally would have started using Max out of the bullpen at the end of the season to see how he looked when only needing to air it out for 1/2 innings. Sucks about Bo... that joke of a play could be how he ends his blue jays tenure.

    Varland has one game as a opener and many folks want to use that option in Game 2. This society's recency bias is bordering on an illness lol.

    Ya its hard to argue with the results of 162 games but we all know it just takes 1 bad move in the playoffs for all that goodwill to be thrown out the window. Lukes/Barger are clearly the better players overall so if IKF/Straw dont perform well if given a starting role then there would be outrage. Anyways so excited for tomorrow. Most meaningful game played since 2016.

    I hate going against lefties because of how ugly our lineup looks. Its tricky because we did relatively well against lefties but the playoffs are a different animal. Boone got blasted for playing his B squad in Game 1 and Schneider might get the same heat if he benches Barger + Lukes for Straw + IKF.

    Yankees lineup is definitely a lot more scarier man... especially because we dont have a lefty stud.

    I said he's "become too unathletic" which means he obviously still has some athleticism in him but its disappearing before our eyes. He went from 25 SBs in 2021 to having 14 SBs in the past 3 years combined. Then you see his diminished range at SS and overall speed, its easy to see why I made that comment. He is one of the worst defensive/least athletic SS's in baseball. I still love him and hope hes back as our 2B going forward. You cant teach his hitting tools.

    How many guys slide the way he did into home and how many injuries have you seen happen at home plate since theyve gone to the new rules? Is it news to that a catcher wears equipment so you try to avoid him with any other method than just what he did? Come on man

    Its true that Bo got caught in between but its also true that hes become too unathletic to adjust to those situations. That was a pathetic slide, let alone from a guy who plays SS, period.
