Imagine the suckers at the game. At least I can go watch the NBA and NHL playoffs lol

This offense has a 0.1% chance of scoring enough to comeback today. See y'all tomorrow.

Ya this Scherzer reunion looks like it needs to end. Thank you for your service.

Varsho not even making attempts to play the ball because of his noodle arm... awesome

I think Lauer took the whole arbitration process to heart when it felt like he was a great teammate last year who sacrificed for the greater good of the game and still got penny pinched for it. With that said, you are on a World Series contender so

Hoffman and Little single handedly ruined the bullpen. We got Rogers/Varland on the other end of the spectrum lol

Wonder if Springer will suit up and how far out Barger is.
  15. Jays24
Not at all... you clearly skipped by the part that says "every player is held to different standards" Lauer is being held to the 5th/6th starter standards. There are much bigger issues on the team to whine about.

And id love that. He looked great in spring training too but just fell apart in the season. Just hope its not some mental block.

Hes obviously struggling but i have a soft spot for him because he stepped up huge when we needed him last year. Hes only in the rotation right now because we have injuries but good luck finding a better 8th starter on most teams. We need a long man out of the pen anyways so thats where id like him (as our Yarboroughl). Obviously his stuff doesnt scream "high leverage" guy out of the pen but we dont have any lefties other than Fluharty so im sure he'd get opportunities by default anyways. Then you let performance dictate where to go from there.

Haha so salty because you look like a damn idiot for your Hoffman takes. I mentioned not having a high leverage lefty out of the pen and a true closer as our gaps in the pen. Lauer was supposed to be the long man out of the pen (our Yarborough pretty much) but i wouldnt have minded to see him getting a turn in that role out of necessity with only Little/Fluharty there. We havent seen what Lauer would look like out of the pen due to our injuries. I also wouldnt be a damn homer if he s*** the bed either lol.

Thats totally fair. Lauer's a 5th/6th starter on a normal team and our 8th starter if everyone's healthy. Hes just filling in due to injuries at the moment. Should have different expectations for different players :)

3 runs (2 of which should be earned) and people think Lauer is at fault today. Use some of that energy on this piss poor offense that hasnt scored so far. Hopefully this pitching change will turn the game for us.
  21. Jays24
Im sure you were *****ing about him last year when he was pretty damn good for us with similar stuff. Dude has gone through 4 innings for what should only be 1 earned run allowed. Its ok to judge players by results, which I know might be hard for some lol. He hasnt given up much hard contact today aside from the HR.
  22. Jays24
He should have been out of this inning with 0 runs if the team could field bunts. Hes been excellent otherwise.
  23. Jays24
Just poor defensive execution for the most part but I agree. Just cost us another run
  24. Jays24
Hit and run with your 2nd guy at the plate?
  25. Jays24
Wow what a catch!! You've been replaced Vladdy lol
