That's awesome. I was very skeptical of him playing 3B full time because of his arm. If he can gun the ball from 3rd without short arming it, we're in business.
Ya but at 1st, we need to worry about whether he knows when to go for balls and when to cover his bag. Oh and catching pop ups should also be added to that list. Things I never thought a major leaguer would have to prove lol.
"Lol" was used to signify the same thing. I was trying to be positive about him improving his mobility and making it one less concern about his defense. Still has a very important aspect remaining Lol.
Wonder if he got any balls hit to him. He's always had a great arm and with his his improved speed/agility, he's only got his glove to worry about now lol.
Ya I'm not saying all is lost because we didn't get Odorizzi. And we do have tons of depth but it seems like a lot of backend rotation depth at this point. We will eventually need front end rotation help.
Spring training is usually painful to watch but I'm excited to see the Jays in action. There is 0 excitement to see majority of other teams half ass it unless it's our guys lol.
