  1. Ya, relying on a player who failed multiple physicals to be your closer in a season when you're expecting to make noise seems like a bad decision. These type of risks seem fine for meddling teams or teams that don't have payroll constraints. Wonder how we'll pivot from this news but I am curious how often this stuff happens and we don't hear about it.
  2. This one's on sportsnet today
  3. Exactly. If the HR barely went out then you can understand the pop up comment but for it to go 445 feet just means you don't know how you judge contact lol
  4. This broadcast team is STRUGGLING to put it kindly
  5. Remember this when Reese goes 4/4 today with 4 HRs.
  6. Even the Yankees broadcast had fun with it lol. Thank god Grichuk/Tellez are our 9th/10th players so we can plug these holes better than past years.
  7. I hope this is the only time we ever see Grichuk batting 2nd lol
  8. Damn man... back to back years of losing our closer. Is Osuna still a free agent?
  9. Didn't someone hit a homerun after the Semien error so it wouldn't have mattered about the error, thus the runs being earned?
  10. We'll have enough injuries and underpeformances for Kay to get his shot too... don't worry lol.
  11. Ball hit the runner before it got to him. Lay off biggio man... jeez
  12. I was about to blame Biggio but saw the ball hit the base runner. He escapes my wrath for now lol
  13. We got so many guys that will be able to carry the lineups man.
  14. Are you allowed to post a tweet containing the same information u just responded to 2 posts above lol
  15. Pat and Buck for home games, Buck and Shulman for road games. That's the scenario until the teams stuck in Florida for both TV/Radio. Could be wrong with my understanding though.
  16. I understand that. I meant everything Shulman tweeted, he mentioned on Tim and Sid already when the news first broke. It was indirectly saying Rogers made this decision without asking the people doing the job how it will impact the product. Seems like that part should have been important before getting rid of the radio broadcast.
  17. Yaya... thats what I meant. I didn't mean it was someone I power who thought that lol.
  18. Wouldn't this be something after all the trashing of this guy here lol.
  19. It was one of our reporters on the Good Show (Shi I think). He picked one player who people didn't know about that could surprise us and contribute to the team this year.
  20. That's far too close to Realmuto's AAV.
  21. Ya I was hearing that he had a chance to beat out Davis for the 5th OF spot earlier on and be an actual contributor to this year's squad.
  22. Ya agreed he's the captain out there but he would have had sprint to get it. If your LFer calls the ball that early, you trust he will get it. Now Springer will keep that in mind for any ball Biggio calls and I assume he will go harder next time. It's part of learning/trusting your new teammates and he will realize quickly that he has to get every ball possible. Gurriels dive yesterday didn't help matters here lol.
  23. Ya I heard Shulman mention this before. Trying to understand how they can make that decision without having assurances from the people who matter...
