    Feel like JBJ might want close to the contract that Azuna got on a 4 year term. I can't begin to say how ridiculous that is for someone who is a 3rd/4th OFer. When I heard him and Wong could be our potential additions, I wanted to puke lol.

    I was mentioning the other day that if he figures out his finger situation, he's still a great bullpen arm at worst. Would love to see him on a minor league deal.

    Exactly. It would be unwise to judge a player one way or another for last season since it was such a weird year. A lot of people are a creature of habit and it could be as simple as that for most. I'm pumped thinking he bet on himself and believes he will be closer to the 2019. We'll get to reap the benefits for one season hopefully.

    How many times do we hear the story about "a person played through some pain/discomfort" as to their reasoning on why they suck. Not saying it can't be true but it also doesn't mean it can't be false. Loved the whole "Morales needed contacts and couldn't see pitches... thats why he sucked." It sure did work out for him eh lol.

    Only if that advice could be taken by the general public too. Just because you're a nobody, that gives you the right to run your mouth? Not speaking to you directly but just in general. People need to start being ok with hearing viewpoints that might be different than theirs. We'd be in a better place if we took time to understand why their viewpoints are the way they are instead of trying to vilify them immediately. We're a lot more alike than the crap we use to separate ourselves /kumbaya moment

    Exactly... if that's the worst thing he's done in life and you think he's a bad person, you're a messed up person yourself. People need to start getting charged or banned for the verbal assaults they launch on social media... one day I hope lol

    Not enough as a corner OFer to offset the offensive production. I'm just a fan of Ozuna and am taking it out on Grichuk lol.

    Was just comparing his value vs what Ozuna/Brantley could provide. Offseason has been GREAT and still think we got one starter to go to fully seal the deal.

    Crazy how cheap a guy close to a triple crown last year goes for. To think we signed grichuk to a 5/50 contract lol

    Wonder if the Jays offer would get leaked. I can't see our offer being close to that but the fact our jersey was in his video... it was a good enough offer to be considered.

    Really wanted Bauer but I'd rather spend 85 million over the next 2 years on others. We could get all 3 of Paxton/Odorizzi/Rosenthal for the same price. Only reason I say that is because I need to see Bauer have another full season of being great before he reaches the elites of the pitching world.

    I agree... we have a 3/4 window where we can do stuff like this. Then we might become the Astros who will struggle to retain their own talent, let alone acquiring new talent.

    Pretty much saying it's last call if any other teams want to beat the offer, which I doubt. 3/110 or 2/80 is a great short term deal for Bauer.

    Well.. if he wasn't coming here, glad he's staying in the National League. Mets had an amazing offseason assuming they extend Lindor soon.

    I think if he has one more elite season... he might get that super contract he's hoping for.
