I cannot stand when announcers like Tabler just make up reasons as to why Vlad is 0 for 9 or whatever he is. He's allowed to have peaks and valleys without it being a "mechanical" issue.

I've been mentioning this after watching him play a few games. He will be a serious threat for gold glove and even MVP assuming our record checks out.

I agree that he's better than he's shown thus far. He is not close to being this bad at the plate but I also don't think his upside is as high as the other players on this team. Couple that with his crappy defense all over the field, it makes him an easy target for frustration.

Hope for Matz sake he has a good game. I prefer him not to beg to stay in the game and then throw a tantrum for sucking. Although the defense could have helped him 2 starts ago.

Loll yup, he was a God for those 4 games but then the losses his past 2 starts now indicate he sucks again. Very simple lol. On a serious note, Javier looks to have some nasty stuff. Have not watched him before.

Same here. He was good enough to be the first real bullpen arm used in the wild cards games last year but not good enough to be ahead of the barrage of pitchers we've called up thus far.
