Ya I'm with you here. I said it from the start of the year that Biggio should be at the bottom of this lineup when everyone's healthy but I was considered a "hater" for that take. Even with the injuries, he's far too often been in run producing spots that clearly isn't his strong suit. Sadly, our manager doesn't seem to understand that because I still like him as a ball player.

Biggio continues to suck in run producing situations. Just bat him near the bottom where he can be a table setter for the top of the lineup.

Why is it OK to waste a full season of our guys though? This reflects on our management who have been here for like 6/7 years now. They've had more than enough time to build a winner so let's start doing winning things now and not later.

I really thought Springer would be back for today. The same thing he's doing in AAA he could do with the big club but at a higher level than whoever we're throwing out there? Like we're using Panik at DH ffs lol.

Think we made those trades in 2015 like a 100 games into the season. Most likely we will have to wait a bit longer for the market to really open up. No one but the bottom feeders are selling.

I think we can get something for Jansen for sure. He still has to have some value to teams. No to trading Kirk or Moreno.

Trade some of our catching depth for a good reliever. Then give Pearson another shot at starting this season. If he stinks, he goes to the pen for the remainder of the year and he can try starting again in 2022.

It's 2015 all over again. Our bullpen ruined so many games for us until we got Price/Lowe/Hawkins/Tulo/Revere. Then we put Sanchez in the bullpen too, which is where Pearson might go if he stinks it up again. Our overall payroll is still extremely low from where our winning squads have been in the past. I expect some moves.

Can Romano ever be a great bullpen arm if he can't hold runners on? He is absolutely pathetic at this and it's a huge component.

Semien will be occupying the 5th spot soon enough with Springer coming back. That's when our lineup will truly be complete.
