    It's honestly great timing for us. Didn't have to worry about who would be the odd man out between Stripling/Matz and now Stripling can be the long man in the pen.

    When players play well, everything looks great. All it would have took is Soria choking when he was used and the whole board would have had a meltdown (including me).

    Was that confirmed? Didn't seem like he ever ramped up in the bullpen thinking he was coming in for sure. I'd expect him to be ready tomorrow if needed.

    Power AND speed. No need to sell Ohtani short. He's been doing all this without having any decent hitter around him for most of the year with Trout and Rendon being hurt. Teams are clearly pitching around Ohtani because they can.

    Theyre both the same age man lol. I find it funny that Suggs is being considered a rookie that won't improve much while Barnes is going to be given many years to grow with him being so raw currently.

    This is exactly what I was going to say since I saw that interview too. Semien seems like a family first type of guy and I really think he goes to any of the teams in the Bay area. At least one of them should be able to pay up. Now if the offer just isn't there from one of them then he's the safer pick even if Ray is the better fit

    I agree with you about Ray but Semien has already proven he's this guy in 2019 and I'm sure he would have gotten there in 2020 if it were a full season. I'd have 0 issues bringing Semien back on a 4 year deal but it will probably take 5. Ray has only had 1 season at this level and thus it would be super risky to give him anything more than 3 years. Unfortunately, it's going to take 4 and maybe even 5 years to get any deal done. Let's just hope we don't get screwed on the AAV if these deals are more than 4 years.
