    I only brought up Semien in comparison to his actual output with us last year. I don't think one person ever gave the Jays a hard time not matching the Rangers contract. It was absolutely insane and the chances Semien replicated the season he had with us seemed far fetched, let alone doing it for 7 years lol.

    Because I'm a reactionary fool that freaks out easily lol. All that Jose Ramirez talk got me spoiled thinking we were going to be a historic offensive squad. Then our reality has us relying way too much on Collins and Tapia, which I don't feel is sustainable.

    I thought Chapman would have a bounce back season after having enough time to heal the hip and being able to play in more hitter friendly parks. Hes not far removed from putting up MVP calibre numbers. This can still happen since we're obviously very early in the season.

    I understand offense is down across all of baseball but this lineup doesn't seem as deadly without Semien. We seem very mortal whereas last year it felt like it wasn't fair to other teams (when healthy). I had hoped Chapman could provide 80 to 90% of what Semien did offensively but that may have been unrealistic. We might need to add one big bullpen arm and a top/middle of the order bat near the trade deadline if we want to standout in the playoffs.

    It has to be purely Vlads comfort level in the 3 spot. Bo batting ahead of him is such a waste when he refuses to take pitches.

    I think 15 pounds is very doable. You hear these stories every training camp in most sports. We'll just have to wait until Espy pisses in a cup to know if he's for real or the next collabello lol
