    There is no way people can be serious about Espinal being a better defender than Chapman at 3rd. Now if we're talking elsewhere on the diamond, no doubt Espy is better as he can also play some OF. Don't underrated the cannon of an arm that Chappy has. Espy/Biggio seems like the perfect platoon at 2B. This is also what we said last year before Espy just severely outplayed Biggio and took that spot for most of the year. Merrifield is where it gets interesting because he's probably the better player than both lol.

    It's a really bad prescendent man. There are people who have been CONVICTED of more serious crimes that have been let back. Banning him for life would be ridiculous and something I hope doesn't happen.

    If Bauer has a great season there, I would bet everything that he will be back in the Majors next year. It's a simple risk vs reward issue right now. Once teams see the reward then they will take the risk. The 1 year there will let people breathe and go cry about other people lol.

    I would hope there's improvement on his batting since he's still pretty damn young. I'm sure our management must have assumed this as well. You don't give what we gave up only for above average Defense at the Corner OF spot lol.

    Moreno has a couple of Homers in a few games he's played already. Part of me wishes him, Gurriel and Teo well because they seemed like great guys but part of me will be heartbroken if they have an amazing season.

    We are top 5 in payroll so money clearly isn't an issue for us. It's just that our front office doesn't believe in spending much on that area.

    Dude, I love the signing. I was just mentioning how we only sign relievers who are either coming off major injury or have sucked badly the season before.

    Why can't we ever just sign a good reliever loll. We sure love our relievers who we hope can bounce back either from injury or just better performance lol. Not saying this is a bad move in any way but just noticed that particular part about our front office lol.
