    I'm convinced that this team doesn't like Jansen. Batting him 7th, sitting him when he can DH over friggin Vogelbach and not even hearing a word about an extension. He's only been our one of our BEST hitters for the past few years when he's healthy...

    Jansen who has been our best/2nd best hitter needs to be higher than 7th... other than that it's progress.

    Imagine your argument being Atkins couldn't fix the roster that he himself spent 8 years putting together in one offseason. The same offseason that he spent whatever resources at his disposal on KK/IKF while totally ignoring that we already have a massive payroll and a farm system producing very little that Shatkins are responsible for. Then name calling and thinking you're above everyone for it. Take a bow you Keyboard Warriors, you've outdone yourselves this time lol.

    There were many times where Edwin would carry the offense one month then Jose carry the offense next month. This team just doesn't have anyone and what pisses the fanbase off the most is that everyone knew this heading into this past offseason. Yet we came back with a worse offense on paper.

    Well said... their 2021/2022 teams were trending in the right direction but then pivoted towards their stupid "run prevention" strategy to the point of completely neglecting offense. Now we're stuck with some of the last entertaining baseball I've been watching from a Jays team that's supposed to be "contending" at the moment.

    You can't coach crap tbh. How many of the Jays hitters are actually even that good. It's just a sad collection of offensive talent, which is something the entire baseball knew going into last offseason but Shatkins.
